Government House WA’s Post

The Raine Study shared their achievements and research findings from the last 12 months and provided a preview of future projects at their annual symposium held at The University Club of Western Australia. Co-patrons of the Raine Study, the Governor and Mrs Dawson heard how the world’s oldest pre-birth longitudinal study continues to make many important discoveries into genetics, lifestyle behaviours, environmental factors, senses, allergies, reproduction and more. In his official opening of the 2024 symposium, the Governor thanked study participants, volunteers and the research team that are collectively improving the lives of many – and for generations to come.
