❌😵You cannot depend on your blood test reports!
Anytime you have a symptom, you visit your doctor. And most likely he will order a battery of blood test, and rightly so. Even your insurance company (before issuing health or life insurance) asks for blood tests. And even me. Our blood tests provide immense insights. And yet, most times they are not useful. Because no one tells us how to prepare for a blood test. Yes, you need to prepare. This is how:
1. Fast at least 12 hours prior 🧘
2. Don’t over-hydrate one or two hours before💦
3. Don’t exercise intensely 2/3 days prior, especially upper body (big impact on creatine, cortisol and other hormones)🏃🏼
4. No supplements 2 days prior💊
5. No travel 2 days prior🚂
6. 8 hours of sleep previous night💤
7. Schedule blood tests at the same time from the same labs for comparisons🫸🫷
Our blood cell turnover takes between 90-120 days. So, get tested every six months or a year. Frequent testing not required. Important - Follow the protocol😌
