Surge Battery Metals (TSXV: NILI) said that its flagship lithium project in Nevada is host to the highest-grade US clay resource, containing 4.7 million tonnes (inferred) of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) grading 2,839 parts per million (ppm) lithium. This resource estimate was the first ever released on the Nevada North lithium project (NNLP). It was calculated using a base-case lithium cut-off grade of 1,250 ppm and metrics derived from available information for deposits similar to that at NNLP. https://lnkd.in/dqvKCqME

Over 7,500 tonnes of Lithium were produced in 2023 but, according to assessments by Benchmark, less than half was battery-grade. For this reason, and the increasing sophistication of lithium battery technology, it is anticipated that Lithium metal production will be a critical bottleneck for lithium battery cells. As we move through the completion of our Pre-Feasibility Study and into mine permitting at Falchani, the battery-grade material that the project is capable of producing without the need for additional refining becomes a significant advantage. Benchmark uncoated spherical purified graphite (USPG) prices tick down by 1.2% in March 2024 after three months of stability. Supply and demand of material remained mostly balanced in late 2023 and early 2024 as sellers resisted further price decreases. Meanwhile, feedstock prices had also exhibited stability, enforcing stable USPG prices. In the latest March 2024 assessment, Benchmark has seen supply edge ahead of demand, and feedstock costs soften slightly, leading to this marginal decrease in USPG prices. #MitsubishiMaterials has published “WITH MATERIALS” Vol. 11, its corporate communication magazine. The theme of this autumn issue features “Evolving Copper”. This volume focuses on “enhancing the supply of high-performance materials and products”. A panel discussion with employees from three production sites, in which participants discuss ways to improve cooperation between departments and sites, is also included in this magazine. The magazine covers the following contents and projects: - build trusting relationships with customers and expand sales of new products overseas - increase productivity through accelerated drilling in response to the demands of the mining industry - the secret of “sintering copper bonding material”, which is ideal for attaching power semiconductors due to its high electrical and thermal conductivity and high melting point. Follow the link below to view “WITH MATERIALS.” We hope you find it informative. https://lnkd.in/ef8yHx8F #copper #copperalloys #cleanenergy #sustainability #environment #mining #transformation #decarbonisation #biodiversity #decarbonization #climatechange #co2neutral #carbonfootprint #carbonneutral #emobility

2moFor me where they will came from is not the problem. Just in Brazil we must have more than 2 bill on of graphite would be mined. The question is how is the quality necessary and who will be able to produce. For me so much noise and a little knowledge.
