🌟 Empowerment, Inclusivity, and Hope: The Adharica Foundation Journey 🌟 Welcome to our story, a vision brought to life by Vinayak More and Santosh Melekar. At Adharica Foundation, we're not just a nonprofit; we're a beacon of hope for the visually challenged and economically backward communities. Our mission? "Empowering youth is crucial for a nation's growth and development, as they are the leaders of tomorrow." As a young humanitarian and advocate, I'm excited to share that I'm organizing the first-ever "Mindset Change Youth Conference" in Mapalo, Ndola district, under the theme "Empowered Youths, Empowered Communities." This conference aims to equip youths with necessary information and skills to foster positive change in society. By doing so, we're not only investing in their future but also empowering them to become active change-makers. Research has shown that engaging young people in community change can have a significant impact, as they bring fresh perspectives and energy to addressing social issues ¹. I believe it's not just the duty of the government, church, or organizations to drive change, but also individual responsibility. I look forward to your support, Hon Luckson Chisenga, and other leaders within Mapalo. Together, let's unlock the potential of our youths and create a brighter future. More information coming soon! #Mindsetchangeyouthcomference #itstime #mindsetshift #purposeOverProfit

Transformative change requires strategies that are collectively owned—where parts of a system operate and relate differently, leading to dramatic and lasting impact. (ssir.org) At the November Life Skills Collective retreat in India , Sanchi Chandna represented Kizazi among 40+ organizations working together to shift the narrative and make #lifeskills essential for young people in India. Key shifts that set this collective apart: ♦️ Youth-led narratives: Empowering young people to shape and lead the discourse on life skills. ♦️ Collaborative ways of working: Centering #equity, #justice, and #inclusion in both our internal processes and external approaches. ♦️ Multi-stakeholder collaboration: Bringing together funders, organizations, caregivers, educators, civil society, and local governance leaders as equal partners. ♦️ Evidence-driven strategies: Leveraging mixed methods to build credible, context-driven evidence for #systemicchange. We’re humbled to contribute to this movement, working toward a #transformative narrative for life skills that enables every young person in India to thrive. Let’s #collaborate and co-create! If you’re passionate about building this future, we’d love to connect. #lifeskills #wholechilddevelopment #collaboration #context Echidna Giving | Porticus | Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, India | Global Center for the Development of the Whole Child | IDinsight | @Adaptatva |

As part of the UN Millennium Fellowship, our project Ekatha Unnati focused on SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, with a mission to empower the Kani community, an Indigenous community in Kerala. Ekatha Unnati, meaning unity and progress, became a journey of advocacy, education, and social justice. We visited settlements in Amboori and Kottur, conducting legal awareness sessions, health workshops, and book donations. Our engagement with the Moopan, the community leader, gave us invaluable insights into their culture and challenges. Collaboration with local leaders and Geethanjali NGO was key to adopting a holistic approach for sustainable change. This journey strengthened our leadership, coordination, and empathy as we worked towards lasting empowerment. Our commitment to Ekatha Unnati continues beyond the fellowship, driven by the hope of true equality for every member of the Kani community. This video captures the essence of our work—a heartfelt reflection of our efforts, challenges, and the hope we carry forward.
