Yesterday we hosted our first #CredimusAI conference at King’s Leadership Academy Warrington. Led by our CEO, Shane Ierston and Head of AI, Benjamin B. the conference saw experts from across the sector come together to discuss how AI has the power to transform education practices for teachers, leaders, support staff and students. Attendees heard an insightful key note presentation from John Murphy and Zaitoon Bukhari before attending an array of sessions led by speakers from across the sector who demonstrated how they have begun to utilise AI in their roles, schools and MATs. The event was concluded with the launch of our own Great Schools Trust developed AI tool - CredimusAI. Developed initially to uplift workloads on marking and assessment, CredimusAI gives staff time back to focus on what’s most important - the students. It was fantastic to hear (and meet) Jason Green at the MD K12 #AI Leadership Conference last week. This conference made me feel like a new Frederick County Public Schools Vanguard teacher again. However, I explored how AI will integrate and change education instead of exploring blended learning. Many great discussions were held at this conference about the impacts of AI on various aspects of K12 education and how it will impact our students in the future. Hearing how AI has impacted leadership and their decisions moving forward was a different viewpoint. I know one thing for sure: some exciting things are happening in this space!
