Had a great time keynoting the MD K12 AI Leadership Conference. Was an incredible day of learning, thought sharing and expanding possibilities for the next age of learning. In this brief clip, I share a little about why I believe adults are key to ensuring AI becomes a transformational tool and how our understanding of adult learning science can help ensure that this happens. I recently completed a short specialization in Generative AI Leadership & Strategy from Vanderbilt University on Coursera. The program consisted of three courses: 1. Generative AI for Leaders, 2. Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT, and 3. Trustworthy Generative AI. Throughout the specialization, I gained essential skills in problem-solving, risk management, creativity, leadership, and prompt engineering. With some unexpected time on my hands recently I decided to channel that energy into something productive and earned a certificate in Generative AI Strategy and Leadership from Coursera, thanks to Jules White. The course was was top-notch, engaging, and filled with practical examples. What I found particularly fascinating is how generative AI could allows us to focus more on what truly matters – the human side in all we do. I’m excited to see how we can integrate technology towards building better workplaces and supporting our teams in more meaningful ways. Thanks to the Coursera team and Dr. Jules White for such an interesting experience!
