🍃 Biogas systems are powerful examples of the circular economy in action, transforming organic waste into valuable resources like biogas, digestate, and biogenic CO2. Commissioner-Designate Jessika Roswall emphasised yesterday that the upcoming Circular Economy Act should recognise the value of these outputs and work to reduce regulatory barriers. She has also highlighted key priorities, including recycled content targets, economic incentives, and a revision of public procurement policies.
