ESR Australia calls 39 Martin Place home Investa and Manulife welcome the Australian arm of ESR, Asia Pacific’s largest real asset manager, ESR Australia, to 39 Martin Place, Sydney. ESR will take two levels (~2,200sqm) as its new corporate headquarters in Australia. Mark Podgornik Head of Leasing, Investa said: “When we made the decision to purchase 39 Martin Place, three years ago we held a conviction that best-in-class organisations would be attracted to a building offering superior amenity and sustainability features. Designed by acclaimed architectural practice, Tzannes the premium building is fully electric and powered by 100% renewable energy sources. With world class sustainability features, 39 Martin Place is targeting a 6 Star Green Star rating and a 5.5 Star NABERS Energy rating. Philip Pearce Deputy CEO, of ESR Group and CEO of ESR Australia, said: “ESR’s purpose is to create space and investment solutions for a sustainable future. We are committed to contributing to achieving an environmentally and socially sustainable future, so it was important to us to move to a building that offers leading sustainability credentials”. Adam Sheumack Managing Director, Rook Partners added: “Securing space that represents ESR’s brand and facilitates attracting and retaining talent, were very clear in ESR’s brief. We’re delighted to have been involved in securing the right premises.” ESR is expected to move into the building in late 2024 and will occupy levels 12 and 13.
