October is not just the autumn leaves that signal a change – it’s also the start of the final quarter of the year! 🍂 For businesses, this is a time to both reflect on what’s been achieved and focus on those last key milestones before the year closes out. Q4 in the UK brings a unique mix of hustle and tradition. Many businesses are gearing up for the busy holiday period while also finalising plans for 2025. It’s a period of strategy, reviewing goals, and making sure we finish the year on a high note. On the lighter side, whether it’s embracing the early sunsets, enjoying a proper cuppa as the weather turns crisp, or looking forward to Halloween fun (and those office pumpkin carving competitions 🎃), it’s a month that offers a mix of hard work and charm. So, as we dive into Q4, let’s keep the momentum going while remembering to enjoy the small moments too. Here’s to a successful and fun final quarter! #OctoberVibes #Q4Goals #BritishBusinessCulture #AutumnEnergy #FinishStrong

The end of the year is approaching, which means it's time to reflect, integrate what we've learned, and set our intentions for the future. We are, in some ways, the same people who began the year, but in other ways, irreversibly altered, seasoned by the weather of our choices. Reflecting on this year will be no tidy exercise; it will be a peeling back, a tasting of both bitter and sweet. It will demand honesty and compassion for the parts of us that bloomed and the parts that shrank away. Did we hold to our intentions, or did they slip through our fingers, replaced by something unexpected? What did we discover in the spaces between plans? At the link in the comments, you'll find the first of three installments that will guide you through a reflection exercise connecting the dots between this year, years past, and the future. Here's to a transformational journey! #reflection #personaldevelopment

As I get ready to head off for an end-of-summer break, I find it hard to believe that it will be September when I next sit at this desk! The summer seems to have absolutely flown by, with so many great events to capture our attention – the Euros, Wimbledon and of course the Olympics; not forgetting that all-nighter I pulled, watching the election results coming in! However, it has also been a challenging time for many around the UK and beyond, with all sorts of domestic and international incidents occupying our screens and thoughts. But there’s something about September. Perhaps it harps back to school days – the start of the new academic year (for some parts of the UK). Or maybe it’s because September is generally seen as ‘conference season’ – a great time to reach people who are returning refreshed from their summer holidays, with a seemingly greater capacity to learn or to be creative. Whatever it is about September, I will enjoy these next few days of R&R and return with an expectation and excitement around the challenges ahead, and the difference that we can all make by collaborating, innovating and delivering impact for the communities we serve. #collaboration #innovation #impact #strongercommunities

Feeling like 2025 is going to be *your* year? I've definitely got that buzz. Now I'm running my own business (compared to "return-to-the-office gloom"), the new year potential is limitless. Some things I'll be working on in January: ➜ #1 priority, getting clients' sales kickstarted ➜ Building a new portal / hub for Sideways ➜ Creating resources to help my clients ➜ Packaging my offering more simply ➜ Using great new tech I've researched Of course, before all that, a final hurrah of the holidays. Cheers to that. But definitely "bring it on, 2025"! Are you feeling it?

This picture represents THE WHY of my new project (its nature) and what I want to achieve with it. Take your own deductions (and please do a deep DRILL-DOWN as you were about to lose a key talent for your company with the consequences in terms of productivity, income and competitiveness). How do you feel when you see this picture? What is the first thought that comes to your mind when you see this picture? Christmas day by the way. This is NOT a nasty suburb in the middle of nowhere. What do I want to achieve with my project? IMPACT, REFLECTION. About what? You do really know. What do you think underlies this image? DRILL-DOWN, please. This is what we are "building" or "destroying" depending on your point of view. But I would bet 1K bucks now for the fact that next year there won't be a light there. It would be a clear effect or side-effect of...should we fight to avoid it to be vanished? We have an entire 2025 ahead. Happy new year 2025 (full of humanization (if possible)). Christmas Day. It was taken by me at 7:55 A.M.

🎄✨ Building Bridges This Christmas – One Brick at a Time 🎨🧱 As we reflect on 2024, the STA Advisory team is reminded that the greatest achievements often start small—one idea, one conversation, or one meaningful step forward, much like assembling something extraordinary brick by brick. This year, we’ve had the honor of collaborating with incredible clients, tackling complex challenges, and unlocking bold innovations. Together, we’ve not only built solutions but also forged connections, nurtured creativity, and inspired transformation. This Christmas, let’s celebrate: ✨ The foundations we’ve built—innovative solutions, resilient partnerships, and shared successes. 🎁 The people who’ve shaped our journey—clients, teams, and communities that inspire us every day. 🌟 The dreams we’ll construct next year—imaginative ideas and bold futures waiting to be realized. Just like crafting with LEGO, this festive season is a time to play, build, and imagine the possibilities. Let’s keep dreaming big and building meaningful bridges—whether between ideas, people, or industries. From all of us at STA Advisory, we wish you a holiday season filled with joy, inspiration, and connection. 🎅🎄 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎁🎉 (P.S.
