Friday Wisdom of the Week ⭐️ I still vividly remember the first major deal I ever worked on with a client. The excitement was palpable, but so were the nerves. What if it all went wrong? ❌ Would our communication styles mesh? Could we truly align on goals? But then, as we started collaborating on that whiteboard, a wave of pure potential washed over me. This was more than just a transaction; it was the beginning of a deep, trusting relationship that later turned into a 7-year partnership between the 2 companies! Understanding their needs and aligning our vision with theirs led to innovative solutions that neither of us had imagined. Building that #trust was paramount 🤝. Or you may want to tell them… • How awesome you are • How you can give them a discount • How & why they should work with you But this will only lower your status 😤 Don’t do it! Here’s what to do instead 👇 Use the Doctor Approach.🥼 Start by asking, ‘What specifically would you like to think about?’ This shows you’re genuinely interested in their concerns. If they mention hesitations, respond with, ‘So you’re feeling unsure about how this aligns with your goals?’ This helps them feel heard and valued.
