There's nothing good or bad, but the heart of man has been subjected to think so, The teleological theory of ethics maintains that it is the result or consequence of actions that determine the rightness or wrongness of actions. By consequences, the good that is produce determines the morality of the action. If the bad consequences outweigh the good, then the proposed action should be abandoned and it should be considered wrong. Should the good consequences outweigh the bad ones however; the proposed action can be considered permissible. However something can be bad, but it's action produce a morally good consequence.
