May, the month of enthusiasm and determination 🙌🏼 👌🏼⬇️⬇️⬇️ As I step back into the world of health and social care, I'm reminded of the journey that brought me here. The photo below captures the excitement of my early days as a home manager, where every challenge was an opportunity for growth. My mentor's words about never losing the honeymoon phase if you love what you do still resonate with me today. Despite facing personal hurdles, including my cancer diagnosis before christmas and 2 major surgeries, I've remained committed to my passion for making a difference. Balancing multiple roles, from healthcare management to venturing into tattooing and entrepreneurship whilst I remain afloat, has been a testament to resilience whilst I regained my focus. Now, as I embark on a new venture, I'm fueled by a vision of redefining elderly care. From crafting company manuals to envisioning a work culture of diversity, inclusion and fun. My goal is to deliver exceptional care while fostering a supportive team environment ensuring we are all united as we expand. During my treatment this month, I'm prioritizing policy reviews, training structures, and implementing cutting-edge technology into care planning (we are keeping this aspect a secret for now 🤫). To anyone navigating difficult times, especially those affected by cancer, I urge you to harness your emotions as fuel for growth. With the right mindset, anything is possible. Don’t let disappoint or dissatisfaction damage your confidence and knowledge, every time you get knocked down just get back up, shake it off and show the world your capabilities. Let's make May a month of triumphs and showcase the best of what we do! If you were/are a Home Manager- what was your first picture ?? People want to do work that is meaningful and purposeful. People want to be part of a team with a mission and a vision for the future. Long gone are the days of 9-5 clock-in clock-out for a paycheck. Yes, we are privileged to be at the top of Maslows Hirearchy. With that privilege we get to live in possibilities, in abundance and in a world that we get to create. I have seen how working a job you hate can affect every part of your life. How it affects your self esteem, your health and and your family/community. It's my mission to help as many people as I possibly can live their life's purpose and find meaningful work. Doing work you love, being fulfilled, caring enough about yourself is not only good for you. It's good for everyone around you and it creates a better world. The cost is too great to not live in your life's purpose and take a chance on your dream life. If you want to explore what your dream career could look like in the health-sector, leave me a comment saying "I'm In" and I will reach out with some resources! MatchDay Health

Simple Ways to Make Someone's Day 🌞 Which one(s) will you try today? #kindness #makesomeonesday #qualitytimewithyourlovedones #shareyourjoywithothers #joy #smallactsofkindness #befullypresent #qualitytimematters #relationshipbuilding
Agree❓ The way you make someone feel is better than any success metric. Spend your time with loved ones fully present. Time passes so quickly and life is short. Focus on inscribing yourself in the hearts of your loved ones and those around you. These are the ones I have come to realize and am really working on: 1. Spending quality time with them. (set dates in your calendar) 2. Be there for them when it really matters (ask if there is anything you can do or be for them) 3. Listen, being fully present (put away the phones) 4. Make them feel like they are the only one in the room (look into their heart through their eyes). 5. Be there for them with genuine kindness (so that they feel your heart). 6. Offer the wisdom of life and experience (if they ask). 7. Share laughable moments with them (laughter is the elixir of life). What do you want your loved ones to remember you for? 🦋 If you've enjoyed this, Repost and Follow me for Greater Wealth & Better Health at ham.com

👨👧👦 How do you cherish your family time? It's precious, isn't it? 📸 Here's a snapshot of my kids, Brant and Karman, at a recent wedding we attended. They're my pride and joy, and I strive to lead by example as a parent. 💪 I'm passionate about instilling healthy lifestyle habits in them – from nutrition and exercise to prioritizing rest and recovery. It's not always easy, especially with so many external influences promoting indulgence over well-being. 🗣️ We've had our fair share of debates, but ultimately, I respect their autonomy to make their own choices, even if they differ from mine. After all, every individual's journey is unique. 💡 If you're seeking to enhance your family's lifestyle for the long haul, consider exploring the Elite Exec Method Health Partners Online Program & App. It's a step towards a healthier, happier future. In the hustle of daily life and the complexities of our professional roles, especially in healthcare, the art of creating magical experiences often takes a back seat. Yet, these moments of joy and wonder are not just luxuries—they're necessities, both in the sanctuary of our homes with our families and in the noble realm of healthcare. Why are magical experiences so important? • Strengthens Bonds: With our families, these experiences forge unforgettable bonds, nurturing love and creating a reservoir of cherished memories. • Humanizes Care: In healthcare, moments of compassion, empathy, and unexpected joy can transform the patient experience, turning routine care into something extraordinary. • Promotes Well-being: Magical experiences elevate our spirits, promote healing, and remind us of the beauty in life, crucial for both mental and emotional health. • Inspires Hope: Especially in healthcare, a touch of magic can instill hope and courage in patients and their families during challenging times. • Creating magical moments requires us to pause, prioritize, and invest in the emotional well-being of those we care for—our families at home and our extended family of patients and colleagues in healthcare. Let's commit to weaving these experiences into the fabric of our daily interactions. Share your story of a magical moment you've created or witnessed, and let's inspire each other to bring more joy and wonder into the world. #heartleader #management #motivation #whatinspiresme #healthcare #healthcareonlinkedin #nursesonlinkedin #bestadvice #socialmedia #socialnetworking

We have Career, Health, Family, and Friends - Four priorities in our lives... Wrong! Earlier in the year, I was introduced to the notion of these pillars as the four burners of life. Originally from David Sedaris, the theory is that there are four major burners in our lives. 🤔 In order to be successful, the theory says you can only have three of the four burners on at one time. 😰 In order to be very successful, you can only have two of the four burners on. After experiencing a horrendous cold and pain the last few days that prevented me from writing regularly on Linkedin, I would like to make a case not to prioritize "x" for health. While you can switch careers, make new friends, and even prioritize family time for your career if you have to, you only have one LIFE. You can go to the hospital and take medications to "get better" But the fact is - you will never 100% recover! Take it from the guy who couldn't move from the bed for the past few days 😭 never lower your priority on your health. #Mentalhealth #Health #Career #FourBurner #Physicalhealth
