My academic journey culminated in the defense of my master's thesis, titled 'L'autonomie de la volonté dans les contrats internationaux,' which delves into the principle of autonomy of will in international contracts. This research provided an in-depth analysis of how parties in international agreements can exercise their free will in contractual obligations and the legal implications thereof. My studies and research have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of international business law and the nuances of contractual autonomy in a global context.

One of the most exciting and nerve-racking class I took at Anglia Ruskin University was Transnational Law. Amongst the many concepts we discussed, one that really struck a chord with me was Lex Mercatoria. The beauty of Lex Mercatoria lies in its core philosophy: a system that evolves to suit its environment while retaining its foundational principles. This adaptability without losing essence is something I believe in and try to embody both in my career and personal life. One moment, I was showing solidarity with the EndSARS movement alongside Noble Eyisi (one of the brightest minds I know) in a classroom somewhere in Cambridge. The next, I found myself in a career far removed from litigation and commercial transactions. Yet, I see parallels between Lex Mercatoria and our professional and personal lives. We are constantly evolving to meet the demands of our surroundings, yet we strive to maintain the core of who we are. The ability to adapt, innovate, and grow while staying true to our core values is essential. This concept has become a guiding principle for me, shaping how I approach both challenges and opportunities. Embracing this mindset, I find myself reinventing who I am and embarking on a new journey. I see a lot of students now wanting to specialise at Masters level and one growing area is International Adjudication and Disputes. Arbitration is increasingly becoming very popular. When you are planning to pursue a Masters in Law out side of India & looking at mainly UK, Europe & Singapore these are some of the options for Indian students: thanks Akash Gupta. I personally have found a broader LLM more appealing from a reputed institution and real work placement opportunities once the course gets over. The key thing is transferable skill sets as the knowledge will come from the job. Gaining relevant internships leading to jobs would be the goal.
