Harrison Riedel Foundation’s Post

Feeling a little less sunshine-y lately? You're not alone! Shorter days can affect our mood. Here are some tips to keep your mental health in check: Lighten up your work/study space: Don't forget to open your curtains in the daytime or use bright lamps to mimic sunshine in spaces that are dark. +Boost your Vitamin D: Get outside in the sunshine. +Stay active: Get moving, even if it's just a quick walk. Exercise releases endorphins, your body's natural mood-lifters. +Connect with your Crew: Social interaction can help boost your mood. Reach out to your Crew when needed. +Self-care matters: Treat yourself to a warm bath, a good book, or anything that makes you feel good. If you're struggling, don't forget reach out for help. Our Pathways to Help is a great place to start when you aren't sure what help you need. https://loom.ly/1HXiFD0 #YourCrew #YouthMentalHealth #SuicidePrevention #Progress #Support #MentalHealthMatters #WinterBlues
