A few points from this study challenge a misconception that is easy to make. The dust cake detachment force is not greatest at the point of maximum displacement. It is greatest at the point where the maximum change in momentum occurs. When the filter media expands into its elastic deformation band and returns to hit the cage, a maximum momentum change can occur. This is an effective method, yet can be hard on the filter media. That doesn't have to be the case. Changing the tautness between the filter cage and filter fabric will have a significant impact on how the cleaning force impacts the filter. Dust type will have a significant impact on how the filter material reacts to the cleaning force. Depending on cleaning pulse setup, the added weight of the dust cake can increase the change in acceleration. It can also dampen the cleaning force and or restrict the nonwoven mesh from returning to its original position. Testing cleaning systems is a good way to setup a filtration monitoring approach. Even better is installing a system with sensors that allow for better control. There are simple cost effective ways to accomplish this.

Manometers are used for many different applications and in all types of industries. They can be used to measure low and high pressures, to either check or adjust pressures based upon manufacturer’s specifications. In many cases manometers are used to get an instant result, in other cases they can also be used for long-term monitoring, for example, monitoring pressure over a period of 24 hours and even longer. Some application examples are: Airflow pressure, blower door tests, room depressurization testing, static pressure testing, gas pressure testing, and many others. Especially for long-term measurements, it is important to have a temperature-compensated pressure sensor, otherwise, your measurement readings will drift away, due to temperature changes in the surroundings where the measurements take place. Also important is a large internal storage capacity, and a manometer that can frequently store data over a defined period. When shopping for a manometer, you need to know what your needs are, also what your typical measurement ranges are. Depending on your industry and applications, you might need two different manometers for different ranges and applications. https://lnkd.in/gD6zqvnn We will gladly discuss your manometer needs with you and help you find the right manometer. As you know, cheap is not always good, these quality manometers will be your reliable tool for many, many years. An investment that you will never regret.
