Boost your productivity by 500%. My simple focus routine that anyone can do easily! Here's what I do to get into the focus mode: First, and that's crucial, eliminate all sorts of potential distractions. Then -> Close your eyes, and Start with one deep breath. Three times, take a deep breath. Think, "Forget about the past." Three times, deep breath. Think, "Forget about the future." One deep breath. Think, "It's all about now." Last deep breath. Think, "Just start for five minutes." The last statement is a trick to get your mind into the flow. -> Open your eyes and let your mind flow During my focus session, I play forty-five long Baroque music. Know for it's power to keep concentrating. It works exceptionally well for me to get things done. After such a block, I take at least a fifteen-minute break and continue with another focus block. I'm going to have at least two each working day. I credit Eric Partaker for the sequence from his book "The 3 Alarms," which I tweaked a bit, and Peter Sage for the sound I use. 3 Simple Tips to Be More Present Right Now: 1. Pause & Breathe Take a moment to stop whatever you're doing. Close your eyes, take a deep breath in, and slowly exhale. This immediately brings your focus back to the present. 2. Notice Your Surroundings Take a look around you. What can you see, hear, or feel right now? Tuning into your senses helps ground you in the moment. 3. Let Go of Worry Remind yourself: The past is gone, and the future hasn't happened yet. All you have is now. Let go of overthinking and trust that being present is where your power lies.

Let's talk about a key solution: Taking a Pause. Reflect. Discover what's missing. Today's world is too much information overload, it's easy to get lost in the noise. Taking a moment to step back and evaluate can reveal valuable insights. Not all information is created equal, and quality matters more than quantity. Try it with me. Ready? Deep breath in . . . Count from 10 to 0 as you exhale. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.... 0. Repeat as many times as feels right. Don't rush it. For best results now write out a thought or two that came to your mind during the breathing exercise.

And who is breathing? You're not breathing, you just breathe automatically. Just like the mind thinks automatically. There is an intelligence within your body. Trillions of cells inside of your body, knowing exactly what to do in every moment. All the intricate systems, all of that happens automatically without you having to do anything. Focus your attention onto that. Become aware of the thinking mind. And don't get invested in it. Divert your attention away from it so it doesn’t run away with itself.

Duran Duran predicted the future. "The pressure's on the screen To sell you things that you don't need It's too much information for me" They wrote those lyrics some 31 years ago. If Simon Lebon was overwhelmed then, I can only imagine how he's feeling now. I thought about this song during the time I took off from technology. What struck me was there was no shortage of information I had access to. But now, instead of being in my hands, or directly in front of me on a screen, it was all around me. It was in the people watching, in the patterns I noticed, and the things I didn't miss. I might as well have started spinning around and singing "The hills are alive with the sound of..." You get the point. But what is the point? Just this: There is no shortage of information in the world. We spend most of our days ingesting information passively but directly. We don't necessarily choose the sources or the times that we see it. We operate on autopilot. I don't like that feeling. I like to choose when and where I'm ingesting information. I like the ability to control my attention span. And I like the ability to just zone out. Zoning out is underrated. It allows you to process, to remember, and to allow long dormant feelings to come to the surface. For a decade of my life, I thought more information was always the solution. Now, I realize, for me, it's less. We've already got so much already. How would our lives change with less? How much better would we feel? FRIGHTENING becomes the new normal when you move outside of your comfort zone. For me, it was the unknown crowd. But I gradually overcome it by following steps: ✅ Taking up challenges: Do those things which you are afraid of. I take the challenge of addressing the crowd and magic happens. ✅ Stress buster: Music, mudra, deep breathing, or counting numbers 1-5. ✅ Consistency: Once you address your fear that does not mean you master it you have to practice it daily. ✅ Optimistic mind: Do not think about "WHAT IF I". Once you decide just do it without even thinking twice. What is your comfort zone?
