Great reminder a few weeks ago while attending an event hosted by Techstars and ChangeNOW that when evaluating early-stage startups, the most important things to look out for are the team, then the team, and last but not least, THE TEAM. I’m sure that every single one of us can come up with brilliant ideas, but only a few have the superpower of executing and making them a reality. That’s why for most VCs and angel investors, investment in early-stage startups seems more like an investment into the people, rather than ideas.
