"But history shows us that the story of Canary Wharf is one of resilience." An interesting read on the ongoing transformation of Canary Wharf. Once a predominantly office-centric district, it's now evolving into a vibrant, mixed-use area. This shift is not only revitalising the space but also setting the stage for the future of work. From new residential developments to an influx of food and drink operators, Canary Wharf is becoming a lively destination for both work and leisure. That would be an incredible change -or possibly reversal to its docking days 🤔
Great article, very revealing of what i think is organic progression from cold office location to not only multi-use but mixed demographic which is our discovery with the Market Halls growth over the last 2 years. There is much responsibility on F&B to now retain vibrancy and keep that dynamic evolution through strategic change and constant alignment with the evolving identity. A great example of place-making at its best, I remember the days we all turned our nose up at a CW meet up!
