As a 1:1 and group coach, #teamcoaching is and has been the advancement in the coaching space that I know many SLT's in organizations would love/wish/hope (read invest professional development funds STAT, your people gain 30 CCEU's from this training.....) managers/people leaders could be au fait with. Why? As I reflected earlier, we can all see whether on LinkedIn, via news media, in our own organizations, that change, restructure, the impact of AI technologies, across many industry sectors is evident. Our workplace eco systems are being challenged. PwC calls this 'a shock wave in the form of a new industrial revolution, reshaping the foundations of many industries. Traditional industry classifications will need to be re-written" There is and will continue to be a deep need for our people in workplace roles to be able to pivot, re-adapt and move with necessary system shifts and process changes. Many people leaders (and these are ones who invest in themselves and come along to coach training...) ask a similar question when faced with these VUCA set of things: How can any of this be done in the best possible way when it comes to our people? As the white paper 'Building a Coaching Culture for Change Management' HCI & ICF (2018) states: "When people experience change as something that is happening to them rather than something they are integral to, they become resistant to the change. Coaching is a powerful tool; one-on-one coaching, team coaching and work group coaching with a professional coach practitioner and rated as the most helpful in achieving the goals of change management initiatives along with training, e-learning and face time with senior leaders." I was a participant in the October cohort and will be joining the February cohort for the webinar phase of the learning. If you are already team/group coaching and want to refine your approach, join us. If you are in change management contexts (and who isn't?) join us. And if you are just simply interested on how to create different thinking for better results - join us. Enrol via info@coachingpacific.com and reach out to Mary Britton PCC and/or Helen Zink with your great questions. These summer holidays create the container for letting go of the previous year (the work stuff, the challenges, the acknowledgements of what worked well) and for the looking ahead...visioning for what is possible in 2025. How will I do this and what will it look like? 🤔 I wonder, if like me you start to seed what your professional development may look like. Radical honesty though, professional is personal and personal influences professional. I started my process for the year days ago so know I will be on the #teamandgroupcoaching training starting February brought to you by the Coaching Pacific Ltd and the Introduction to Group and Team Coaching trainers - Mary Britton PCC and Helen Zink. The why of team and group coaching as a methodology sits in the deep need for people to be able to pivot, re-adapt and move with necessary (and there is much of this lately) system shifts and process changes. When we lead and manage, co-create and partner with people, the VUCA set of things is often a key influence so how can we be in these roles, do the best with people and attain the best outcomes? "When people experience change as something that is happening to them rather than something they are integral to, they become resistant to the change. Coaching is a powerful tool; one-on-one coaching, team coaching and work group coaching with a professional coach practitioner and rated as the most helpful in achieving the goals of change management initiatives along with training, e-learning and face time with senior leaders." Building a Coaching Culture for Change Management, HCI & ICF (2018) So if you are scrolling through LI right now and come upon this post! and are considering PD for 2025..here's what the ROI on this type of learning for the year ahead is for you: ✔Learn about what’s different re: group and a team ✔Learn useful processes + tools for working with a group or a team ✔Learn how group coaching works ✔Learn how team coaching works ✔Learn what your group/team coach strengths are, what your work-ons may be ✔And this will all be learning applied in real time - working with your own group/ team during February to April. I will be with you! So if this is you - let's get started with some next steps: 👉You can see the recorded video from October 2024 on the programme here https://lnkd.in/gfHf_TzA 👉If it's a full YES and you are a first mover - enrol directly here: info@coachingpacific.com The EB rate is still available until Jan 2025 👉Still doing your research? Do connect directly with my colleagues on the faculty for this programme Mary Britton PCC or Helen Zink with specific whakaaro you may have. Now back to stealth coaching teenagers! Dive Into ICF Core Competencies with Paulette Rao, MCC Register here: https://buff.ly/4bhtuRT ICF Core Competency 5 defines Coaching Presence as a state in which we are fully conscious and present with the client, employing an open, flexible, grounded, and confident style. Demonstrating presence goes beyond eye contact and active listening. In this webinar, we will focus on five coaching moves that, when deployed, allow you to reap the benefits that presence imparts. These moves allow you to be more responsive to the client's internal life: who they are and who they wish to become to accomplish their ideal state. You go deeper than transactional coaching, where you often coach the session outcome, not the person. With presence, you can coach the person's ideal self and who that person needs to be to accomplish their (often external) session outcome. This is the place where transformational coaching occurs. Details: When: Wednesday, May 15, 2024, 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM Eastern Time (US & Canada) (UTC-05:00) Videoconference information will be provided in an email once registration is complete. About Paulette: Paulette Rao is a leadership coach and trainer at major corporations around the world. As founder of True North Resources, her coaching consultancy, Paulette helps leaders enhance their own performance as well the performance of their teams while achieving organizational objectives. As a Board Certified and Master Certified coach, Paulette works with senior executives and high potentials at Fortune 500 and smaller organizations to help them hone the skills they need to improve their performance and develop others in their organization to create positive and profitable change. While she works predominantly with senior male executives, she has gained special notoriety working with female leaders to grow their confidence, mindsets, and skillsets to reach their unique potential as leaders. Paulette has expertise in an evidence-based coaching approach that helps leaders transform the way they think, communicate, manage, and lead. She brings the benefits of coaching into corporate settings to transform conversational skills, develop and retain talent, and improve performance and leadership. Her coaching model is a solution-focused, self-directed learning model heavily informed by leadership theory, models and principles, systems science, psychology, change principles, learning theory, and contemporary neuroscience. Happy New Year! 🥳 🎉 🎊 As I reflected on 2024, I thought about the lessons I’ll take forward into 2025, and I’d love to hear yours. What insights or takeaways from 2024 will you apply in the year ahead? Let’s inspire one another! #StriveandThriveIn2025 While much of the conversation in 2024 centered on Artificial Intelligence, my biggest lesson reinforced the irreplaceable value of Emotional Intelligence and human connection. Through my formal coaching training with the Center for Executive Coaching, I developed meaningful relationships and learned so much from colleagues and clients alike. It’s clearer than ever to me: coaching is one of the simplest, most powerful methods to facilitate transformational learning and growth. Over the past year, I had the privilege of teaching coaching in various programs and witnessing many “light bulb” moments from participants. Their reflections and feedback often highlighted coaching as the most impactful takeaway. Beyond teaching, I coached dozens of individuals in 2024, and it was an honor to serve as a trusted collaborator, helping people achieve their goals and solve challenges. I am deeply grateful for these opportunities and excited to continue this journey in 2025. Even with nearly 25 years of experience in project management and coaching, and an M.Ed. in Training and Development, I made it a priority in 2024 to grow further. I invested significant time completing formal training to earn 15 certifications and credentials to sharpen my skills and expand my impact. Here’s what I accomplished this year: ✅ Birkman Certified Consultant ✅ AgilePM Practitioner ✅ PRINCE2 Practitioner ✅ Certified Executive Coach – ICF Level 2 ✅ Time and Productivity Leadership Coach ✅ Strategic Planning and Execution Coach ✅ ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) ✅ Power and Influence Coach ✅ Perceptual Shift Coach ✅ Culture Change Coach ✅ Communication Impact Coach ✅ Change Leadership Coach ✅ Certified Career Coach ✅ Board Certified Coach (BCC) ✅ Certified Master Facilitator Earning certifications and credentials is one thing, but applying them is another. I’ve already integrated methods and resources into my coaching and facilitation work to design and deliver more effective, results-oriented learning experiences. When 2024 began, I created two hashtags - #BeMoreIn2024 and #DoMoreIn2024 - as reminders to embrace this intense learning journey. Looking back, I feel a deep sense of accomplishment and clarity about my purpose and professional mission. As 2025 begins, I’m excited for the opportunities ahead and eager to share more about what’s in store. Now, I’d love to hear from you: What lessons will you carry forward from 2024, and how will they shape your 2025? Let’s grow and thrive together! #StriveandThriveIn2025
