InnoTrans 2024: Where innovation gets rolling! 🚌✨ Trade visitors experience the latest buses at first hand at the InnoTrans Bus Display in the Summer Garden. Manufacturers present their bus innovations with more comfort, the highest safety standards, environmentally friendly drives and charging infrastructure. 🚍 Particularly exciting: trade visitors can also test drive bus innovations in live operation on the 500 metre long Demonstration Course. Daimler Buses MENA, Van Hool, Kbus, Ebusco®, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A., BYD, Ventura Systems CV, Neso Bus and others will be presenting their innovations. ⏳ 100 days to go: The final countdown for InnoTrans 2024 begins... ⏳ As always, you can expect a lot from Siemens Mobility in Berlin, and this year I am even more excited about the many solutions and success stories we can share with you. In 2018, we first presented our strategy of technology leadership. We have come so far since, and now the clear benefits of digitalization and AI are stronger than ever. You will see how by combining the real and digital worlds we can transform mobility for everyone! Three (of the hundreds) of things to expect 🔍 1️⃣ How our digital technologies deliver for customers 🤝 The S-Bahn Munich will set new benchmarks for rail travel with modular software, updates via the cloud, and 100% availability while you can see our Velaro high-speed train for Egypt as the country gets ready to deliver sustainable travel to 90% of its population. 2️⃣ How our digital technologies deliver for passengers 🚄 Examples of how S3 Passenger delivers dynamic pricing, ticketing, and reservations in Spain and how through CBTC we can reduce headways from 120 to 70 seconds over a 170km network in Copenhagen. 3️⃣ How railway digitalization can take us even further 🚀 At InnoTrans 2022 we talked about the potential of Siemens Xcelerator and APIs. InnoTrans 2024 gives us the chance to demonstrate how this is already working to maximize network capacity, to deliver 100% availability and up to 100% occupancy. ✈Exciting Update✈ Today the very first #press conference in connection with our current #Fraport Digital Factory project Nr. 54 “Ride-sharing platform” took place. Together with our partners Stadt Frankfurt am Main, traffiQ Lokale Nahverkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main mbH and goFLUX Mobility, we shared insights into our plans for this #project, the initial #testing phase and more.📰   Within the first 3 days, we achieved 3️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ registrations, which is a great success. 🚀🚗 This was possible thanks to our intense 3-day promotion and the great work of over 15 promoters. 🙌 🎙 Excited about the benefits for employees, Jana Baschin, Senior Vice President Corporate Strategy and Sustainability at Fraport AG, said: “We are actively working on making #transportation in the Rhine-Main region ready for the #future. 🚆 Rail revolution at InnoTrans 2024: EXOES on Track 🚆 For our very first time at InnoTrans, Julien Baron, our Key Account Manager, was truly impressed by the full-scale exhibition of electrified trains on display. InnoTrans, Europe’s leading railway exhibition, attracted 170,000 visitors and 3,000 exhibitors. As EXOES expands further into the rail sector, with initial projects underway, this was a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the advancements driving the industry. 🚉 Julien explored the 133 vehicles on display and immersed himself in the growing trend of battery-powered trains, which have made significant strides in the past two years. 🔋🚄   The rail industry is seeing increasing demand from rail OEMs and battery manufacturers for specialized testing services. What a ride it’s been at European Mobility Expo! 🤩   A lot happened, so we’ve decided to share a few of our highlights of the event!   🌍 Nicolas BLAIN, Director of International Relations and European Affairs at RATPgroup, set out the important strategic role public transport plays in European industrial policy, international competitiveness, and the continent’s ecological transition, as well as RATP Group’s strong culture of collaboration with industrial partners. 🚋 Serge Reynaud, Senior Vice President for France and Switzerland at RATP Dev, gave insight into how to manage the complexities of cross-border mobility, highlighting our long experience in the Franco-Swiss region as well as how cross-border mobility forms part of the attraction of urban transport. 👨💻 And finally Coralie Triadou, CEO of our start-up dedicated to AI and data CITiO, shared how the analysis of real-time data collected from transport systems is enabling operators to better understand how their networks are used, optimize services, and support the modal shift towards more sustainable transport.   🤝 What’s more, this morning, we had the honor of welcoming the French Minister Delegate for Transport François DUROVRAY to our stand.   📢The message we sent at #EuMo2024 is clear: we are focused on delivering the best in public transport.
