It’s #NationalPlaygroundSafetyWeek! Did you know that there are designated fall zones at every playground and each zone must have padding installed with the proper thickness? Details like this are important for creating safe and certified outdoor learning environments, like we did for Primrose Schools of Cupertino. If you are looking to build out or modernize a playground space, reach out to us at info@hgbuilderscorp.com for more information. #construction #siliconvalleyconstruction #generalcontracting #playgroundsafety

School's out for summer and kids get to be wild and free for the next few months!! Here is a less-obvious safety tip to consider this summer, from your friendly neighborhood dispatcher! While many playgrounds are adopting sun shades and sails over their play structures, most do not have them. Always check the temperature of playground equipment (especially slides) before letting your kids play on them. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their bodies. Stay tuned for more tips! #FamilySafetyTips #KnowledgeIsPower #TheMoreYouKnow #911Dispatch #SummerSafety #SurviveSummer #Playground

🚨 Project Spotlight + Lessons Learned 🚨 We recently wrapped up an exciting project for Estes Park High School, handling everything from design to installation. The goal? To bring a fresh, modern feel to the building, boost school pride, and set the tone for students and visitors alike for athletic events. But here's the twist... We. Made. A. Mistake. During the process, a site survey miscommunication led us to print graphics that were 3 panels too long, skewing the entire design placement. What did we do? ✅ We owned it ✅ Communicated with the client ✅ Adjusted the design ✅ Reprinted & reinstalled in time for their deadline Instead of pointing fingers, we came together, fixed the issue, and improved our system to prevent it from happening again. Every setback is an opportunity to get better—and we’re better because of it. Our team knocked it out of the park. What do you think? 💥 #design #graphics #projectmanagement #inkmonstr #learningfrommistakes #schoolpride #athleticdirectors #principals

As progress on the Safe Routes to School project continues, you may notice changes to areas around the designated School Zone too. Where School Zone signs do not include a posted speed limit, these are considered School Areas. These areas have lower risk and consider school type, road classification, road proximity to school, location of signalized intersections, and other deciding variables. School Zone sign installations will be fully complete by September 3rd. Elm tree trimming will take place after the August 31 tree trimming ban is lifted. #CityMJ #SafetyFirst
