Rules of Warfare We appear to have entered a new domain for Rules of Warfare? In the past, the Geneva Convention has guided these rules. Specifically, a location that is serving a protected service must not be attacked; hospitals and schools, for example. The Rules of Warfare specifically identify, if any location is used for attack, it loses protections. What do we do, when a declared terrorist organisation embeds itself within a community, and conducts warfare from within this communitie's protected service sites? No compassionate person can agree to deaths of innocents; they can't agree to terrorist events which killed many Israeli citizens. Deaths of innocent Palestinians cannot be agreed to. Does the Geneva Convention need to be revised? When it was conceived, terrorism didn't exist. Regrettably, we live in an age where terrorism is spreading; where terrorist organisations seek to use innocent populations as "human shields". At this time, I can't propose a "solution"? But a problem exists, I believe. Innocent Israelis and Palestinians continuer to die. Appreciate contributions to revisions of the Geneva Convention and International Criminal Court. Hypocrisy and Virtue Signaling Mayorkas (DHS) and Wray (FBI) pay tribute to our 911 fallen warriors - thank you both. I was only 20 blocks away when the second tower imploded 23 years ago, so I know the terror and chaos that followed. And I, too, pay tribute. At the same time, Mayorkas blithely bloviates that securing our homeland is DHS's most fundamental mission. Wray bloviates in the same way but adds the ominous warning that Americans are more at risk from terrorists today than ever before, and disturbingly...another 911 is possible. But hold on a minute - I smell hypocrisy and virtue signaling. While preaching security on the one hand, they facilitate terrorism and drug addiction on the other by refusing to close and secure the border. The proof is in the pudding: Thirteen million illegal immigrants entered the U.S., including 378 on the Terrorist Watch List, likely hundreds of terrorist gotaways, and fentanyl contributing to 100,000 deaths a year. Communities are in disarray, cops are defunded, disparaged, and overworked, and citizens are attacked. Yet, both Feds continue to preach, prance, and pontificate. Shame on you! Taxpayers - including former FBI, DHS, and law enforcement - demand more. Please close our borders. #terrorists #drugs #DHS #FBI

As we remain vigilant in the face of school shootings, it's crucial to remember that terrorist organizations continue to plot large-scale attacks within America. While the current focus may be on tragic school shootings, it's important to broaden our awareness. A recent case, which has not received widespread coverage, involved a Pakistani citizen plotting an attack in New York City, aiming "to slaughter, in the name of ISIS, as many Jewish people as possible," according to the U.S. Attorney’s press release. The terrorist conducted planning and engaged in the attempted recruiting of others to join in the attack. During one exchange the terrorist noted “if we succeed with our plan this would be the largest attack on U.S. soil since 9/11.” Fortunately, he was apprehended by police not far from the U.S.-Canadian border. While school shootings deserve our attention, we must also prepare for larger threats, such as Complex Coordinated Terrorist Attacks (CCTA). The CCTA at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, which claimed over 100 lives, serves as a tragic reminder of how devastating such coordinated attacks can be. The 9/11 Commission warned against another "failure of imagination." Let’s heed that warning and think bigger, preparing for potential large-scale attacks alongside the critical issue of school safety.
