We have a company called Jarvale Construction based in Sheffield who think that it is ok to not repay retentions and hide behind saying “we write off the retentions if not claimed back on the due date”. Even after having a COVID pandemic. This is one of the most unethical excuses I have heard for a company to try to hold on to our money. Not what you would expect from a company carrying out work for the NHS. I wonder what the clients they work for will think of this when I write to inform them of how one of their approved contractors uses underhand tactics to hold on to other people’s money. Just a word of warning to this company that unethical practices have consequences that reach further than this post. Anyone receiving tender enquiries or clients looking for contractors beware of how Jarvale Construction operate. We will not write this off and we will meet again and discuss this further.

We performed really well for a client recently. That’s the feedback we received. But as Roy Keane would famously say week in, week out as a pundit; “That’s his job” So as much as we love great feedback, we believe Roy to be right. We know it’s our job to perform well. But the result of performing well? Repeat business. 👌 So when we got a call a few weeks back to tender for another project on another of their sites, we were over moon. And we’ve just delivered that work. From call to completion in 2 weeks. ✅ Yard improvements consisting of mostly concrete slabs across their site. We’re excited about building relationships like this. It’s what we exist for. A credible company and new repeat client with multi-depot locations. Delivering quality is not a what we should aim for, it’s what we SHOULD deliver every single time. Do you agree?
