Cannabis-infused beverages are taking the industry by storm this year, positioning themselves as one of the fastest-growing segments in cannabis. Advances in emulsification technology have significantly improved the absorption of cannabinoids in these beverages, making them fast-acting and offering a more predictable experience for consumers. This is a huge shift from traditional edibles or smoking, as people look for healthier, more sophisticated ways to incorporate cannabis into their lifestyle. It's a trend that mirrors the rise of Athletic or non-alcoholic beer in the spirits industry, where consumers are prioritizing wellness and mindful consumption. With major brands investing in this space and product offerings ranging from energy drinks and sparkling waters to relaxation teas, it seems like cannabis beverages are on track to make an impact. Do you think cannabis beverages will be the biggest growth product in 2025? Is this a trend that’s here to stay, or just a passing phase? #CannabisBeverages #CannabisTrends #CannabisMarket

What does 2025 look like for Adult Beverages? See the report here from IWSR, tells a fairly optimistic story. The non-alcohol, mock-tails and THC infused drinks will continue to grow at a much faster rate than traditional alcohol beverages. I think here the real important message about the role of manufacturers, distributors, retailers, on-premise consumption venues, proper regulation and technology etc.. is whats missing here. We all have a role in our industries to bring to consumers the best products made in the most responsible and sustainable way. We need great products made with superior transparency. This is the fight!

🍹🌿 Cannabis beverages are gaining interest in the cocktail scene, but it's important to navigate the complexities of federal legality and regulation. Despite state-level legalization, cannabis remains federally prohibited, and the FDA lacks funding for oversight and hasn't established a safe dosage level. Both cannabis and alcohol are depressants, so it's crucial to focus on one as the lead ingredient in your beverages. Mixing the two can lead to intensified effects, which isn't ideal for patrons. Opt for non-alcoholic beverages that showcase cannabis instead.
