"In the first quarter of 2023, the number of newly registered trucks in the country grew by 19.2 per cent compared to the same period last year. The results for the individual month of March were even more impressive. A new record was set here with an increase of almost 28 per cent compared to the same month in the previous year." We have delivered our milestone 50th three-car RegioPanter electric unit of the second generation to České dráhy, a.s.. It also marks the first set that will operate in Zlínský kraj , an area that has yet to experience our Panters. 'The RegioPanter is a train of Czech manufacture, but it offers the comfort and technology you'd expect from a train of international standards. ... and there gets another one of possible Hydrogen applications challenged: long distance trucking. Hydrogen proponents always maintain that long distance trucking can not be done by battery electric trucks. Scania Group begs to differ. 😎 Scania is showing what is possible today. I'm pretty curious what they will encounter concerning charging infrastructure and problems with parking space at chargers for the truck. After all, these are early days for BEV HGVs. And I am most interested in how big the difference in time will be on this journey, compared between a standard ICE HGV and this BEV HGV - when all resting requirements are followed. I hope we can get some information about that in this thread. I will follow this closely, and wish all the best to #queenoftheroad during this trip into the future! I think Michael Liebreich and his #hydrogenladder will be proven right in the long run: hydrogen will not have any place in mobility, neither in FCEV or H2 ICE applications. 🎞️New customer case study! We're proud to tell the story of the work we've done in Belgium with Dalla-Riva Thomas, Yann Guillaume and the great team at VALTRIS and Susty Wastes Solutions. The team wanted to increase circularity at the plant and to support the workload of human workers, during times of high material volumes. This robot installation was designed to recover missed valuable materials on a residual line, especially clear PET. A positive step towards decarbonising #shipping and reaching net-zero by 2050! 🌱 🚢 A.P. Moller - Maersk have launched their 2nd methanol-enabled vessel. Liner shipping wants to decarbonise as soon as possible. To ensure there are renewable fuels available to run the Astrid Mærsk, in a competitive manner, energy providers must see regulations written in the next two years that demonstrate sufficient demand for new fuels to justify the massive investments needed in the immediate future. ✅ #MEPC81 took important steps in the right direction, and now we have to work together to make sure we get effective regualtions in place in time. #Decarbonisation Read more below 👇
