The continent includes over 30,000 km of coastline and over 1.5 million km2 of Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs). Is Zimbabwe Really an Unsafe Destination? As Zimbabweans, it’s disheartening to see our beautiful country often mislabeled as unsafe. The reality on the ground is far more nuanced and deserves a closer look. Comparisons with neighboring countries like South Africa often paint an inaccurate picture. Zimbabwe offers incredible natural beauty, rich cultural experiences, and warm hospitality. Our safety measures, especially in tourist areas, are on par with international standards.
