🚀 At the invitation of the Zukunftsagentur Rheinisches Revier GmbH, the two new graduate clusters AUFBRUCH and Circular E-Cars met for the first time, presentes their approaches, and discussed potential synergies. Both projects were launched this year as part of the structural change in the Rhine region. While AUFBRUCH - Graduate Cluster is likely to be familiar to the inclined reader, Circular E-Cars will focus on making e-cars recyclable in the coming years and establishing the corresponding economic processes. To this end, the 22 doctoral students will work closely with local companies. 🚗♻️ The round was completed by the bioeconomy flagship project Bio4MatPro which has been researching the linking of biotechnology with production technology for several years 🧬🏭. The SYMBIOREM Project strongly believes in the #cooperation with related projects and initiatives committed to develop innovative #bioremediation techniques and solutions that aim at decontaminating polluted #environments. We are happy to announce that, together with the MIBIREM, BIOSYSMO Project, Nymphe, EDAPHOS, and ISLANDR Horizon EU, we founded the Alliance for Environmental Bioremediation, #ALL4BIOREM, the EU Bioremediation cluster, which aims at fostering cooperation and driving forward the collective effort of experts for the progress of #bioremediation solutions as natural, effective, and sustainable ways to restore the quality and functionality of the environment. Giray ERSOZOGLU, PhD, and Mathieu Saraiva, covering a variety of topics like ecosystem dynamics, #bioeconomy, the intricacies of project writing and management, innovations, electrochemistry, the development of bioplastics, and even shared some insights from international lectures. 💯 Also, it's fantastic to engage in both official and unofficial #networking. I had the great pleasure of connecting with research attaché Brigita Serafinavičiūtė and some of Lithuania's brilliant minds: Rasa Tumaševičiūtė, Dovilė Uždavinytė (Phd), Ina Kalėdienė, Giedrius Sernas, Jonas Matijošius, Artūras Kilikevičius, Jurgita Ceseviciene, and Irena Kuzminskiene. 🎉 Each conversation opened doors to new insights and potential #collaborations. Excited about the possibilities ahead 🙌
