Interested in exploring our franchise opportunity but not sure how this works? We've outlined the pre-decision process in 5️⃣ simple steps👇 1️⃣ Initial Call Once you have made initial contact and received our overview flyer, you will be invited to schedule an initial call. These telephone calls are typically 20 minutes and provide an opportunity for us to find out more about you, share the available territories near you and discuss the investment involved in joining the franchise. 2️⃣ Discovery Event If you’re interested in progressing after the initial call, we’d love for you to join one of our Discovery Events where we provide a high level overview of the support provided to our licensees and the services offered to HR Dept clients. Check out our upcoming dates here: https://lnkd.in/d9EZAe6C 3️⃣ 121 Meeting Following a Discovery Event, we'll invite you to our head quarters in Bristol. In these sessions, we will talk you through a profit and loss exercise as well as the turnover of some of our licensees. 4️⃣ Speak with licensees We understand the importance of hearing from licensees first-hand. As part of the exploration process, we will organise for you to speak with two licensees to gather insights about their experience since being in the network. 5️⃣ Reserve your territory If you decide to join The HR Dept and we agree you'll be a good fit, we request a 10% deposit of the initial fee to reserve your territory for up to six months. Once reserved, induction dates are agreed and we can start the onboarding process. The quickest we can onboard someone is six weeks. Interested in finding out more? Start the exploration process today and message Briony Kloet.

Territory Protections Are Important In Franchising- Here is what to look for Is it exclusive? No other franchisees should be able to perform services in your area without your permission, not even if they made the sale outside of your territory. Can the franchisor sell in your territory? Can online sales from the franchisor compete with your in-person sales? If so, why? Do you get a cut? Can you work outside of your territory if someone does not own that area? How big is it? Is it defined by population? Number of homes? Do you trust the franchisor? In all these things there has to be a degree of trust in the franchisor. The FDD will always be written in favor of the franchisor and you have to believe the franchisor has your best interest in mind. If you don't think they do, don't join that franchise. Of course, franchise systems can be sold so you want as much in writing as possible, but you can't predict every situation that could happen, and you must trust the franchisor will do what's best for the franchisees. I chose to become a Tippi Toes franchisee largely because I believe in the leadership team. They turned down an investment from Mark Cuban because they didn't think it was in the best interest of the franchisees. That is someone I want on my side!

Recently, I was asked about my thoughts on franchising. While wearing my Franchisor hat, I can attest that franchising offers a lot of great opportunities and gives power to individuals who may not have had the chance otherwise. But as a person looking in, I can say that being part of a franchise group gives you Franchise Power. Like Rocky had Mickey as his coach, Franchisees have their Franchisor support teams. Systems, procedures, purchasing power, credit facilities, support people, expertise, and more are all congregated to deliver success. I believe that being part of a group gives you the power to transform yourself from a street-smart Rocky Balboa to a sophisticated world champion, running your own business and doing good in the community. While there are standalone operators who are pioneers in their field, franchisees have the benefit of a support system to help them succeed. I was asked to reel off what I thought made a good franchise partnership, and as usual, I had an acronym for it: F.R.A.N.C.H.I.S.I.N.G P.O.W.E.R. Check out the attached slide to learn more about it. If you're considering franchising, I encourage you to think about the power that comes with being part of a group. It can be the difference between just keeping up and becoming a world champion.

For much of my career, I never realised how important purpose has been. It can take a lot of introspection to understand what encourages us to jump out of bed and pursue the work we do. Within franchising, every franchisor needs to understand what their purpose is, but it’s also important for every franchisee. I prefer to refer to franchisees as ‘franchise partners’ because to build a successful franchise you need to have a partnership approach. That approach needs to include an alignment with purpose. So at the outset you have to identify: what is the franchisor’s purpose? What is the franchise partner’s purpose? And do they align? (to continue reading, go to https://lnkd.in/g_bvccKb)

Q: WHY USE A FRANCHISE BROKER INSTEAD OF DEALING DIRECTLY WITH A FRANCHISOR? A: A franchise broker's role is to ensure that you have taken a step back at the start of this exploration to assess and put into writing a plan that summarizes what your criteria are. Without a plan, you'll likely waste a lot of time looking at franchises that are not a good fit for you. There's also a lot of data to review and understand, legal and financing issues to address, and a lot of marketing hype to sift through to get to the heart of a franchise opportunity. You need an experienced franchise broker that fully understands every step of the the process so you don't waste your time or money. BEST YET… Using our franchise broker services will not cost you a penny more than what you would pay the franchisor anyway, should you decide to purchase one. You have nothing to lose by working with an experienced guide! VIEW ALL FAQS... https://lnkd.in/dxRcgHpS
