Delighted to see Ireland's first-ever National Mental Health Research Strategy published this week. The strategy is aligned with Recommendation 93 of our national mental health policy Sharing the Vision. The strategy provides a comprehensive framework to guide and advance mental health research in Ireland and will play a vital role in the improvement of mental health services. Well done to all involved in this important work including Camille Boostrom, the team at the Health Research Board (HRB), the Department of Health - Ireland, Fiona Keogh, Philip Dodd, and Ana Terres. Good to see. And I understand that we are now one of two countries in the world with a National Mental Health Research Strategy 😀
