📖 In the last session of the Food and Beverage Management course offered by Università Bocconi on Coursera, the size of the food and beverages company is discussed. ✨ Food and beverage businesses are crowded with both big and small companies. However, no matter how big or small, it is important to leverage on the advantages and points of difference to allow the consumers to make a preferred choice. At the end of the topic, the relationships between brands were also discussed and the slides show examples of common brand relations.

According to Caliber’s Food & Beverage Global Reputation Report 2024, quality tops the list as the most important factor when choosing food and beverage products, followed closely by price and taste—each cited by at least 50% of respondents. But beyond these key factors, considerations like sustainability and ethics drop off quickly. Even the company behind the product carries less weight than expected, with only 11% of consumers saying it plays a major role in their purchasing decisions.
