What's so special about hydrogen? Well, green hydrogen can be the solution to the energy transition. It's a powerful energy carrier that can transform how to electrify industries such as the steel industry, heavy transport and aviation. Additionally, how do you can store energy such that it can be used when it's later required? Now, why use hydrogen in the car? Using hydrogen in the car is not exactly new. The initial combustion engines in the 1800s actually worked on hydrogen and it required no lithium or cobalt to build. If you look at fuel cell vehicles, they require 8 to 16 times less cobalt to build them than battery vehicles. Why is hydrogen in a race car? Well, we hope that your hydrogen can provide quick refueling times, long driving and lightweight solutions to racing. And we hope our innovations here will can then be used by the wider industry. Why is hydrogen not more commonly used? Well, you have the classic chicken and the egg problem. If you don't have carbs, you have no refueling stations and have no refueling stations, nobody will buy the cars. And that's what we're hoping to change by building this race car.
