These projects mark the first utility-scale BESS installations on the African continent, enhancing the stability and flexibility of South Africa's power grid. As South Africa accelerates its transition to renewable energy, Hyosung's BESS technology contributes to enhancing the flexibility of the transmission and distribution grid, supporting South Africa's commitment to sustainable energy solutions. 🎤 Hyosung Hydrogen Completed Hydrogen Charging Station in Gwangyang On October 7, Hyosung Hydrogen held an opening ceremony for South Jeolla Province’s first liquid hydrogen charging station in Gwangyang, South Korea. This facility marks Hyosung Hydrogen's first liquid hydrogen charging station and has the capacity to fuel over 150 hydrogen buses per day. 🎤 Hyosung Provides 4,000 Safety Vests to Partner Companies Hyosung Heavy Industries and other Hyosung affiliates recently provided 4,000 safety vests to over 200 partner companies at construction sites and regional operations. In addition to this support, Hyosung actively promotes safety management for its subcontracting partners through diverse initiatives, including establishing safety and health management guidelines, conducting safety and health evaluations, and implementing a safety and health mentoring program. 🎤 Visit from the Dutch Ambassador to Hyosung Heavy Industries Headquarters The Dutch Ambassador to Korea and the Director of the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency visited the headquarters of Hyosung Heavy Industries to discuss cooperation plans with the management.
