I'm pleased to share Holly Health's recent findings presented at the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation (BACPR) Annual Conference 2024 in Manchester last week. The study evaluated Holly, our digital behaviour change platform and app prescribed to primary care patients with a history of heart disease or stroke. The results are promising and we are excited to see the interests in the BACPR community for using such tools for prevention and personalised rehabilitation. Key Outcomes ✔ Significant improvements in exercise habits and energy levels ✔ Reduced stress and anxiety ✔ 33% of patients reported improved medical conditions Behavioural Impacts ✔ Better self-management skills ✔ Adoption of a long-term health mindset ✔ Positive changes in drinking habits These findings highlight the potential of digital solutions to extend support beyond traditional cardiac rehabilitation programs, addressing both physical and mental health needs. We invite NHS cardiac rehab teams to explore Holly Health's potential, especially for patients who decline traditional services or require a more personalized approach. IABSE Uruguay - the youngest amongst 60 National Groups! Our youngest (newest) National Group is from Uruguay, chaired by @Luciana Marziotte. Matías A. Valenzuela, IABSE's Vice President and chair of the Chilean National Group, initiated this group. So, what does it take to set up a National Group? Here is the checklist if you wish to set up one: - Are there 6 IABSE members residing in your country? - Can you hold a Founding Meeting with at least 6 IABSE members residing in your country?
