The law firm Montero Aramburu & Gómez-Villares Atencia presents itself to the market with a new corporate image after completing the integration process of Gómez-Villares Atencia into Montero Aramburu announced in April 2024. As of October, the new firm will operate as Montero Aramburu & Gómez-Villares Atencia, including the surnames of the four founding partners. In this article, the words of Leonardo Neri Fernández, co-managing partner of the firm. Led by managing partners Javier Valdecantos Lora-Tamayo and Leonardo Neri, the professional services firm has a combined turnover of 28 million euros, a staff of 304 professionals including lawyers and economists and 370 people in total, and nine offices in Andalusia, the Canary Islands and Madrid. With a 2023 marked by its entry into the top 10 of the TTR Data Ranking, the law firm reinforces its presence in the market with new offices in Barcelona and Girona, and is committed to technological innovation and structural growth by Julia Gil de la Torre In recent years, the firm Lawesome, founded by Xabier Alvarez Lombardía and Martín Eguía Barrio, has experienced remarkable growth, consolidating its presence in the Spanish legal market. The boutique of legal services for corporate transactions has been another year in the top 10 of the TTR Spain Ranking. EJASO, a law firm specializing in business law for the middle market, has achieved remarkable success in its 40th anniversary, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to growth and national expansion. Over the past seven years, the firm has doubled its turnover, reaching €23.3 million in revenue in 2023. Part of the success of the firm lies in its territorial capillarity and now they have 12 offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, A Coruña, Córdoba, Valencia, Vigo, Seville and Zaragoza, and has made it into the top 10 Andalusian law firms in terms of turnover. The São Paulo office – the firm’s 48th location – will continue to provide U.S. law advice to clients seeking to do business in Brazil, as well as to Brazilian clients considering expansion in the United States and globally. Greenberg Traurig’s Brazil Practice acts as foreign legal counsel under U.S. law and does not practice Brazilian law, according to local regulations. I am very happy to share that for a consecutive year I have been ranked by Chambers and Partners in the Europe guide as one of 14 top lawyers in Poland specializing in Public procurement - Band 3: https://lnkd.in/dHgrPhpX This is especially rewarding after nearly half a year into my own legal practice. Anyone who has left a legal corporation knows (myself after 16 years), that pursuing your own legal practice is the ultimate test for being a lawyer, whether clients trust your services, entrust you with their cases and whether you are capable of keeping up the pace and quality. Thanks to that trust that I have received over the recent months, for which I cannot express my gratitude enough to my Clients, I can honestly say that this is an enthusiastic path full of rewarding moments. Practicing law, pursuing my Clients cases with my personal full engagement, is what I have always enjoyed and what brought me to be a lawyer from the very beginning. I owe it to my Clients and I owe it to myself, to continue engaging personally in their matters. Huge thanks to my Clients for the positive feedback, which motivates me to do even more this year. As legal advisers we are entrusted by our clients to help them in critical legal issues and use our knowledge and experience in navigating them through difficult times or avoiding such. Concentrating on our job and excelling in what we do, working hard and honestly, ultimately pays off, sometimes it just takes a while. Doing it the other way round, concentrating on "credits" and corporate targets, will only draw one away from actually practicing law and bringing added value to their clients cases. Although maintaining monetary results is inevitable, this should be the outcome of being a good lawyer, not the other way round I believe. While pursuing your own legal practice, you are rewarded solely for the work you have done, nothing less, nothing more.
