Cybersecurity Innovations Hackathon is supported by Diia.City.Union. 🧩 Diia.City.Union is an association of Diia.City residents aimed to create a powerful IT industry in Ukraine that successfully competes in the international arena and promotes innovation around the world. The main focus of the union's activities is effective interaction with the government, networking, and education, which combine to create transparent and favorable conditions for the long-term growth of the industry. Currently, there are about 100 members of the union. 🎯 From 1 to 10 August 2024, Cybersecurity Innovation Hackathon participants will have the opportunity to develop and present their cybersecurity solutions. 🚀 Exciting Development of Eye On Campus Technology 🚀 I am thrilled to announce my FYP project: "Eye On Campus" developed by myself, Sudais Khan, and Asadullah under the guidance of Mr. Fawad Khan at Comsats Institute of Information and Technology, Attock Campus. 📝 Project Overview: Eye On Campus is a web based application can be a powerful tool for enhancing safety and security on campus. This Surveillance System will have only an interface for users and admin. The system will play an important role in the security of the campus. By using installed cameras in strategic locations and using computer vision algorithms to analyze the faces of students and teachers and faculty members in Live Video, potential security threats such as unauthorized individuals, can be detected in real-time. The system can be configured to alert security personnel when an unauthorized person is detected, allowing them to respond quickly and appropriately. 🎯 Key Objectives: To detect unauthorized person. This will help to reduce terrorist attack in an institute. To alert security personnel allowing them to respond quickly and appropriately. Enhanced safety and security. Cost-effective solution to security. Increased efficiency. 📉 Algorithms: Algorithm that we have used for Face Detection module is Yolov5 model and for Face Recognition module we have used Siamese model which provide 90% accuracy. Trained on a label dataset. 🔎 Future Directions: In future, we will try to make it more efficient. To make it more efficient we will work on the following points. Admin Panel: We will work on an admin dashboard. So that admin can perform his duty more effectively. Algorithms: We will refine and optimize the facial detection and recognition algorithms to improve accuracy and efficiency in identifying individuals in challenging situations such as Low lighting. User Interface: Furthermore, adding new functionality and features to the system to make the user interface more friendly. 📃Conclusion: Finally, we have developed an application in full working condition performing some of our main functionalities. We have achieved our goal. The development of Eye On Campus represents a significant advancement in Attock Campus Security technology. The integration of face detection and recognition models enables proactive security measures and gives rapid response to any potential threats. Moreover, the overall dashboard for administration and users is user-friendly and easy to use it. Admin can register Students and Faculty members and Users or Security personnel in a very simple process. Users and Security personnel can easily use the system and can watch live monitoring. In short, we can say that the whole system is time saving.
