🚨 📺 On July 1, 1941, the world saw the first TV ad ever. The WNBT TV station (now NBCUniversal) showed the "Bulova Watch Time" ad at 2:29 p.m. In the 9-second-long video, the words "America runs on Bulova time" were the first message combined with the video ad ever. This message was spoken by Ray Forrest, one of the very first TV personalities ever. Fun fact: Bulova was billed $9 for the ad. This step marked a new era in advertising, and TV ads were among the most important forms of advertising in the upcoming decades. Even today, in the digital world, video is on the throne of power when it comes to advertising. #marketing #advertising #history #bulova #video #ad #tv #television #digitalmarketing
