How well do you protect yourself from fraud? Are you on the active side or more on the passive side? There’s a lot we can do to protect ourselves from fraud, simple things like not sharing personal information without verifying who’s asking, staying informed about new scam trends, and being cautious with those tempting “too-good-to-be-true” offers online. But let’s be real: are you actively taking steps to protect yourself, or are you more passive about it? Being active means staying one step ahead, double-checking suspicious emails, using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and regularly reviewing your bank accounts. It’s about making protection a habit, not just a reaction. If you’re more on the passive side, that’s fine too. We all start somewhere right? The important thing is recognizing the risks and deciding to take even small steps toward better protection. So, where do you stand, active, passive, or somewhere in between? Either way, it’s a great time to think about it and make the moves that’ll keep you safer. Wishing you a happy new week, and here’s to staying one step ahead of fraud! #fraudawareness #fraud #fraudprevention #fraudexanination
