When doing a 0-400 run, aerodynamic drag is one of the most critical parameters for achieving good performance. Almost half the total time between 0-400 is spent between 300-400 kph where it's just power vs drag that matters. The key to this record run is indeed the very low drag force generated by the Absolut, when compared to other cars that have attempted it. Actually, even though it must provide cooling for 1600+ hp, drag is among the absolut(e) lowest of any car on the market - even compared to electric cars. This is achieved through its incredibly low (for a supercar) Cd value of 0.28, combined with a compact frontal area. This gives a total drag (CdA) for Jesko Absolut that even rivals the Tesla Model 3, which is among the best in the world at low drag.

The stadium also hosts international matches, concerts, and other sporting events. Completely rebuilt in 1998, it features a light, cable-suspended 35,000 m² roof that spans the entire spectator area. This roof is supported by 40 steel pylons positioned around the stadium behind the stands. 🏟 The structure includes an inner tension ring connected to an outer compression ring by 40 radially arranged cable girders. The span of these cable girders, and thus the roof depth, extends up to 72 meters. The roof covering is made from a #PVC-coated polyester membrane, held in a double-curved shape by a secondary support structure. End of an Era: Wimbledon Bids Farewell to Line Judges, Embraces Digital Accuracy Starting in 2025, Wimbledon will replace human line judges with an electronic line-calling (ELC) system, ending a 147-year tradition. This move reflects the tournament's commitment to "balancing tradition and innovation" while aligning with other major events like the Australian Open and US Open, which already utilize similar technology. Developed by Hawk-Eye Innovations, the system uses optical 2D vision processing and 3D triangulation, powered by high-speed cameras to ensure precise calls. Following extensive testing at the 2024 Championships, ELC will be implemented on all courts, including qualifying rounds. Additionally, the data collected from the system will serve as a valuable revenue stream for tennis organizations.
