Promise alone doesn't make a national, regional or global champion. Champions are those companies that combine both the promise of untapped growth and the fundamental metrics that demonstrate strong and sustainable customer demand."

I just had a meeeting with an industry contact and the main take away from our discussion was the prevailing cost containment mindset. I share the view that cost containment indeed is top of mind in Silicon Valley because it helps companies maintain profitability and sustainability in a competitive market. By managing costs effectively, companies can allocate resources efficiently, invest in innovation, and adapt to market changes more effectively. This focus is crucial for startups and tech companies in Silicon Valley to stay competitive and thrive in a fast-paced environment. There are exceptions like those in the AI space but by and large, all others are in a cost cutting mode, wouldn’t you agree? Intellectual Property Ontario (IPON) Dan Herman, PhD Why waste time to discuss idea? We, as an auther, need to find a copyright licensing deal for our IP. Can you help? Is there any data solution, AI or NOT, that can answer the following questions of business intelligence? "Who, in the Ontario province of Canada, have new US patents granted on the nearest Tuesday (Eastern Time), when the USPTO releases the newly granted US patents on a weekly basis?" "Who, in the "江蘇" province of China, have new US patents granted on the nearest Tuesday (Eastern Time), when the USPTO releases the newly granted US patents on a weekly basis?" With our intellectual property (IP), a Chinese-English multilingual metadata, we can get the full list answers for the above questions. This is a fact. Do you or any of your contacts need our expertise/IP to do the data analysis that AI can't do? Metadata is an enabler. It is like a treasure map for treasure hunting. Without metadata, like a treasure map, NO data can be found/retrieved, even by the most advanced technologies, like AI, high-end chips, supercomputers, etc. https://lnkd.in/g-aJFnXR
