There are six official UN languages, and many more non-UN languages. NVIDIA Isaac Sim is accelerating our robotics development at Seasony. It's proving to be a valuable tool on both internal and client-facing projects. Here's the key impact: 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬: We rapidly create realistic 3D simulations of our vertical farms, allowing us to thoroughly test our robots before deployment. This minimizes real-world issues and streamlines the development process as we mitigate issues earlier. 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We quickly iterate on designs for our mobile robot, Watney, in a virtual environment. This means fewer costly physical prototypes and faster innovation. Latest example of this is how we tested different camera placements for detection of trays in the simulation and found a correction was needed on our platform, all found and mitigated in simulation before any camera mounting. Isaac Sim isn't just about visualization—it's about tangible results. Excited to share my recent robotics testing! Using robot URDF and ROS in Gazebo, I simulated and validated complex algorithms in a virtual environment. This method allowed me to fine-tune the algorithms, ensuring accuracy and optimizing performance before deploying them on actual hardware. By leveraging simulation, I was able to identify and address potential issues early, saving time and reducing risks. #Robotics #Simulation #ROS #Gazebo #TechInnovation #AlgorithmTesting

Project Update: Motor Speed and Direction Control with L298 Driver 🚀 I recently completed a project using the L298 motor driver to control the speed and direction of a DC motor. By integrating the driver with a Raspberry Pi5 and leveraging the gpiozero library, I was able to: 1) Move the motor forward and backward. 2) Control the speed of the motor using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). 3) Interact with the motor through user inputs. This setup showcases the potential for precise motor control in various applications, from robotics to automation systems.
