Hey everyone, I know how hard it is to find jobs these days. Trust me, I’ve been to a lot of job fairs with my friend, and a few of us are finding it hard to get one. But in my opinion, LinkedIn is a place to find jobs, not a place to complain about how hard it is to get a job or how some hiring managers expect too much from candidates. It’s a place to showcase your skills and what you’ve been doing during your free time to enhance your portfolio or experience. It’s a place to show how professional you are in your career and life. We should try harder. That’s what I think. Sure, you can complain about how hard it is, but keep it to yourself or maybe just share it with your friends and family, but not here. The more positive our mind is. The easier life gets.

The truth behind "Job Fairs" Let’s be honest—many job fairs today seem more like marketing campaigns for companies than genuine efforts to recruit talent. It’s frustrating when company representatives lack detailed information about the roles they’re supposedly offering. And giving out a QR code to direct candidates to a generic career page feels like an impersonal, dismissive approach—especially to IT professionals who value efficiency and respect. Having been in the industry for years, I’ve learned that many company representatives need to be more prepared to articulate what their institutions actually need. It’s clear that some of these interactions feel like a waste of time for job seekers. Personally, I’m thankful that I’m not bound to the typical 9-to-5 grind. Relying on alternative skills to maintain self-respect has been crucial for me. Instead of chasing endless certifications, I encourage others to invest their time and resources into alternative streams of income.
