At Impala we like to do our bit for local causes, and 2024 has been no exception. We're delighted that our annual Impala Terminals golf day in Milford Haven raised funds to help support children who need specialist and life-saving care in Wales.
Huge thanks to the Impala Terminals Golf Society who organised a fantastic golf day at Milford Haven Golf Club in aid of the Noah’s Ark Charity and Ronald McDonald House Charities in July. The Noah’s Ark Charity has received an incredible £6,400 which was match funded by Impala to increase the sum raised to £12,800! The funds will ensure that we can create brighter todays and better tomorrows for the 90,000 children who receive specialist and often life-saving care at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales each year. As a charity, we believe that every child deserves access to the best possible medical care and child-centred support, over and above what the NHS can provide alone. Thanks to support like this, we can ensure that treatment and outcomes for children and young people can continue to improve by funding new and innovative medical equipment and facilities. We are able to support children and families in the here and now through our emotional support service and the much-loved play specialist team. We invest in the future by providing technology that helps train the bright clinicians of tomorrow. Together, we are also able to make the hospital a less frightening and more familiar place for children by creating family-friendly environments and by sprinkling a little fun and happiness into hospital days. We would like to say a big thank you to Leigh, Timmy and Chris who organised this incredible event, Impala Terminals and the 200 golf enthusiasts who came along to support the day. The funds which you have raised really will make an incredible difference.
¡Enhorabuena!
