At INCITE, we’ve learned that the solutions we seek often lie in the work we’re most tempted to avoid. There are no shortcuts or easy answers in meaningful growth—progress happens when we lean into the hard choices and tackle challenges head-on. Why do we shy away from this work? Often, it’s because it feels daunting, uncomfortable, or pushes us outside our comfort zones. But that discomfort is where real change starts. It’s in the difficult conversations, the deep strategic shifts, and the moments where we confront our blind spots that true progress is made. This is where potential is unlocked and where clients make the most significant leaps forward. If you find yourself avoiding something, it’s likely the very thing that will drive the most impact. Embrace the tough work—that’s where the magic happens. At Incite, our story is shaped by our core values—relationships, impact, problem-solving, growth and integrity. These values are not just words but the driving force behind every decision, strategy, and action we take. INCITE first came to appreciate the importance of defined core values through Jim Collins' work on 'Good to Great.' Companies that take time to articulate and live by their core values outperform competing peers who don't. Over time, our values have helped to serve as a roadmap to building culture, hiring the right people and onboarding new Inciters. We take time at our bi-annual team retreats to revisit our core values and ensure they remain relevant and alive within our day-to-day culture. What are your core values? Do they still resonate? How can you breathe new life into them? Vision Boards: A Game Changer for Focused Living I've always been the go-to person—juggling too much, spreading myself thin, and trying to do everything. As an immigrant, a mom, a scientist, a STEM advocate, and the eldest child in my family, life has always been about managing a million things at once. But recently, after an unexpected sudden job loss and actively job-hunting, I realized I needed a new approach. With that thought in my head, I attended a vision board workshop by Tech2Step Network Canada with the fabulous Lindsay Johnson—and it was a total game-changer. Lindsay's energy and authenticity hit me right where I needed it. They explained how vision boards can act as a visual roadmap to break down big dreams into small, manageable steps. It's all about celebrating those little wins along the way, and for the first time, that felt achievable. It's not just a tool—it's a mindset shift, and I'm ready to make it mine! What stood out most? ✅ Focusing on five containers to balance and avoid burnout. ✅ Stacking success year after year without overloading yourself. For someone like me, this approach feels genuinely transformative. It involves so much and reflects what matters to us. I'm starting my vision board for 2025, focusing on growth, impact, and balance. Thank you, Lindsay, for showing how simple tools can create powerful change. #VisionBoard #Focus #GoalSetting #PersonalGrowth #Tech2Step #InspiredLiving #Wellness If you are interested in attending Tech2Step Network Canada's Lunch and Learn sessions in the future, Send us a direct message! Successful people seek to uplift others, creating a cycle of mutual growth and support. Unsuccessful people focus on self-interest, missing the chance to build meaningful connections. Choose to empower those around you and watch success follow. #motivation #inspiratonalpost #techmasterzone #motivationalpost #tmz

We’ve all been there — not having all the answers. But instead of saying “Nope,” let’s remember there’s always a way to show we’re eager to learn and grow. A little effort in our responses can open unexpected doors. We’re all a work in progress. 💡 Lately, I’ve noticed this a lot, especially with Gen Z #LearningEveryDay #GrowthMindset #BetterCommunication #Opportunities #genz

When I started my journey in tech in 2021/2022, I believed in the saying, “Fake it till you make it.” It felt like I was wearing a mask that didn’t quite fit, but I kept telling myself, “I look great.” I pushed myself hard—too hard at times—and often ended up fighting my own expectations. Along with that, I had a fixed mindset. These two things just didn’t align with the picture I was trying to create. Coming from a different field, I felt like I didn’t belong, and it took time to find my place. But here's what I learned: 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 is key. Without an open mind, we’ll keep fighting ourselves, stuck in old patterns. Adopting a growth mindset makes the journey flexible and enjoyable. It helps you appreciate the process, the lessons, and the incredible people you meet along the way. Nowadays, I don’t subscribe to the “fake it till you make it” approach anymore—and I’m really happy about that. To me, it means growth. It means we’re evolving into the people we envision. The journey becomes less about pressure and more about progress. So if you ever feel like you don’t belong or are struggling to find your place, remember this: 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰. Enjoy the ride, keep growing, and trust that you’re exactly where you need to be. 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫? I’d love to hear how you’ve navigated it and what lessons you’ve learned along the way! #WomenInTech #TechJourney #GrowthMindset #CareerDevelopment #MindsetMatters
