The Youth Empowered programme, which Coca-Cola HBC has been running for 7 consecutive years, in all the countries where it operates, is for me personally a very important project that can inspire young people and sometimes even determine their future career choices. I was born and grew up in Šilalė, where I attended primary and secondary school. However, I personally have always lacked the exposure to the world, the opportunity to see and hear inspiring presentations that would influence my future and especially my career. The first time my teacher took me, probably as a tenth-grader, to Klaipėda, where there was a youth programme, discussions on different subcultures and workshops led by well-known musicians and stars from Lithuania - I was blown away 🤯. I felt that I had finally crossed the boundaries of my hometown, that this is just the beginning, that I can build the career I want - it's just a matter of moving in the direction I want and working hard. I have great faith that Coca-Cola HBC's Youth Empowered programme can have the same impact on today's young people, broadening their skills and understanding of the world. I invite young people to join the online event next Tuesday (15th October) and be inspired by some of Lithuania's most prominent people, who will share insights on artificial intelligence, the future competences employers will expect from you, how not to burn out in the face of pressures from teachers, parents, society to do well in education and choose a well-paid profession, and many other topics I'm sure you'll find relevant. I will also share with you some insights on sustainability. Link to the Lithuanian online event below in the comment section.

Social impact at HPM is about working together for a better society.🌺🦋 Real impact comes about through real actions: This is our guiding philosophy to bring about positive developments for people inside and outside our organization. Read our latest article to find out how we work together to create social added value for our employees, customers, and society. With worldwide locations, the Division’s harmonized sustainability framework “inSPire” includes the Social Impact pillar with its four fields of action: 📚 Education and Community 👨👩👧👦 Family Friendliness 🩺 Health ✨ Diversity and New Talent The initiatives within these fields are just as diverse as the Division’s local companies and cultures themselves. Already we’ve achieved so much—from fostering better 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 by constructing an ultra-modern and supportive apprentice campus in Kapfenberg, Austria, to driving 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 through our Female Leadership Community, where woman collaborate globally to inspire each other in their goals and visions.💙 With so many social impact initiatives already put into action, and with many more paving the way ahead, we actively contribute to fulfil our social responsibilities and remain an attractive employer for talented people. #socialimpact #inSPire #getinSPired #socialresponsibility #empathy #sustainability #SocialSustainability #voestalpineHighPerformanceMetals

Although it's been just over a month since this remarkable event took place, I can still feel that great energy!☀️ Opening another edition of our #YouthEmpowered program, we met #online & #offline with nearly 10,000 eager to learn youths from #Estonia, #Latvia #Lithuania & #Poland 🙌✨ We have reached a record number of participants since the first edition of #YouthEmpowered in Poland & Baltics! 🎉 That was a firm step into another year with our program. And the recruitment is still open, so we are not slowing down! 🍀 As Coca-Cola HBC we committed to support 1 million young people on their career path! 🌍💪🎉 This year opening event and the program is enriched by the #Skills4Future premiere, the platform created by Mentors4Starters , with financial support from @The Coca-Cola Foundation. It is designed to support #Youth in the labor market, increase their #technological and #digital skills, encourage #creativity and #entrepreneurship and highlight the importance of #mental #health. It has been only a month and more than 1,000 people have started using the platform and some of them have already reached their first certifications! Keep it up!💪🏻🎉👏🏻 Thank You to our amazing #Partners, who made these programs and this project possible! #YouthEmpowered #StrongerTogether #Skills4Future #FutureLeaders #Education #RaiseTheBar #Empowerment #AI #Innovation #CocaColaHBC

Today we’re celebrating International Youth Day 2024. At Coca-Cola HBC, we passionately believe that every young person has the potential to thrive. Our #YouthEmpowered programme aims to train one million young people by 2025 so they are equipped with the skills, experience and confidence they need to secure a brighter future. So far, as a Group we have trained 944,948 young people – so we’re confident we’ll meet our target, as our Business Unit is very committed to do so! Last year, more than 4,000 young people from Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania came together for our #Skills4Future hybrid event, which focused on the four essential competencies (4C): cooperation, creativity, communication and critical thinking, exploring how these skills - along with AI - play a crucial role in youth development. And during the 2023/24 school year, more than 2,000 school students participated in webinars on these same competencies. And we don't stop there - the next edition is coming soon. Stay tuned! #InternationalYouthDay2024 #YouthEmpowered #Mission2025

We proudly present Nettiquette, a project funded by Erasmus+ to foster low skilled adults’ and adult learners’ awareness, knowledge and skills to take part in the digital society critically, consciously and responsibly. Assist international HR is working on this project together with eight partner organisations from the Czech Republic, Portugal, Cyprus, Greece, Belgium, Spain, France and Turkey. In line with European strategic priorities, the project will provide participating organisations with a set of tangible innovative and high-quality results to address the key role played by netiquette in adult learners’ daily lives, educational settings and the workplace. And it will also tackle common needs and challenging issues that have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in the participating countries, which uncovered the centrality of adult education and lifelong learning to foster digital readiness.
