Wow, what a journey this year has been with the SheLovesTech mentorship program for Central Asian startups! This is my second round, and let me tell you, it has been an exhilarating ride with so many differences from the previous year. First off, the startups we worked with this time were truly inspiring - from women to women. They came to us with such powerful stories and even stronger visions. It was like witnessing a wave of passion rolling in, each startup bringing its own unique spark to the table. Their energy was infectious, and their drive to make a meaningful impact was truly inspiring. This year, I found myself spending 5 hours with each team. But don’t let that fool you; we didn’t just scratch the surface with pitch decks; but also delved deep into their business models. It was like fine-tuning a high-performance engine, helping these startups streamline their approach and enhance their strategies. So, was it worth dedicating my time to these amazing startups? Absolutely, yes! Every moment spent was a moment well invested. If given the chance again, I would dive back in without hesitation. The growth, the learning, and the impact we’ve had—it's all been so rewarding. Here’s to many more rounds of mentoring and witnessing the incredible transformations these startups will undergo! 🚀
