Today is Social Mobility Day, a day dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities for all! While where you start in life may shape your opportunities, it shouldn't determine where you end up. We believe that each individual's potential, choices, and merit should drive your outcomes, not your background or circumstances. Despite occupational mobility remaining stable for decades, there are real concerns about inequalities in opportunities. For instance, young women are less likely to be economically active compared to young men from the same socio-economic background, and individuals with disabilities often earn significantly less than those without. Even if social mobility is improving, it can still be much harder for some to move up compared to others. We're proud to say that we put social mobility at the forefront of everything we do.
