Color Me Yellow- Inside Out Network Fundraising Campaign- Year 2! First off, to all of those who previously donated, we wanted to thank you again for your generous financial support for the Inside Out Network's Color Me Yellow campaign last year. Because of last year's successful campaign, we were able to retool our online platform and shift our work to a higher gear. This year’s campaign is all about pressing on the accelerator and doubling our impact. Our goals for the coming year are to successfully launch direct access between men and women leaving prison and community service providers (a) on ViaPath tablets in Oregon, Illinois, and Mississippi, (b) on prison library computers in Arizona, and (c) by registering the next 50 service providers in Oregon. Due to the funding that is needed to pursue these exciting opportunities for growth, we have officially launched our second "Color Me Yellow" campaign. If you are able to make a tax-deductible contribution to ION (501 c 3) now, your gift will be doubled! Several generous friends of ION have come forward with matching challenge gifts in the amount of $20,000; we hope to raise a minimum of $70,000 before the end of the year to fuel our vision. So for this Giving Tuesday (December 3rd), please consider donating- you can help change the lives of thousands of those leaving incarceration. DONATE NOW: https://lnkd.in/gkiyk_Xd. *You can also mail a check to our address or donate stock. Please reach out for more information.* Please share with your family and friends too. Thank you for your support! #GivingTuesday2024 #Nonprofit #CriminalJustice #reentry #CriminalJusticeReform #givingback #communitysupport

📢 **We’re Making an Impact Beyond the Local Community!** 🌍 Did you know that we receive mail and phone calls from residents in local prisons, requesting our services before they’re even released? These individuals are eager to start their journey toward a better future, and they trust Erika’s Closet to help them transition back into the community successfully. 💪 This is why your support is crucial! Your donations enable us to continue this vital work—not just welcoming individuals upon release, but also preparing them for the transition long before they step out. Together, we can provide the tools, resources, and hope they need to rebuild their lives. 🙏 Please consider donating to Erika’s Closet or other community organizations committed to supporting these individuals. With your help, we can ensure that everyone has a chance to thrive. -Cashapp: $erikasclosetclt -paypal.me/ErikasclosetNC -Venmo: @Erikas-Closet https://lnkd.in/e_QryB-i #CommunitySupport #ReentryPrograms #DonateNow #ErikasCloset #SecondChances

In 2024, we’re facing a significant shortfall in donations, essential for sustaining our extensive array of no-cost services and initiatives. To keep our vital work going, we urgently need 500 individuals to commit to regular contributions. This is the stark truth for us at our 501c3 & 509a2 nonprofit dedicated to aiding #widows. Without financial support, our organization cannot exist. Our model doesn’t require formal membership, relying instead on your generosity to continue our decade-long mission of support. It’s crucial not to assume others will contribute; rather, think of how you can make a difference. Your donation is a powerful statement of belief in our mission and the future support of countless new widows following in your footsteps. Sadly, we’ve found no dedicated foundations supporting widow organizations, and governmental assistance is both insufficient and not prioritized. For our survival into 2025 and beyond, we need your immediate support. Please visit https://lnkd.in/gyS5MMV to contribute. We will keep you updated monthly on the growth of our recurring donor community. Your support is more critical than ever. Despite rising costs and financial pressures, we’ve managed to maintain all our programs, from local groups and clubs to our free HOPE e-course, hundreds of podcasts and YouTube videos, social media outreach, health events, and widowhood research. Your help can ensure these resources remain available for those in need. Give today: https://lnkd.in/gyS5MMV Mail to: Modern Widows Club 127 W. On this, “Mind your Mindset®” Monday, I thought I would share a post from a fellow Howard University, Charlie Lewis. A Message to: Howard University and all HBCU alumni and friends/parents of HBCUs kids We have a target on our backs now especially with the spotlight that was shined upon us during this race. Trust me there will be people trying to defund our institutions. If you want to build community, focus your efforts. No better place than the place that nurtured you, at least you can see the fruits of your labor. 1. Get involved with your institution on the local and/or national level 2. You are going to need to raise funds for these institutions . Use your position inside corporations you work to make contributions to your institution. I don't discuss this out loud but I raised $11m for HU's School of Business to create the HPS Center of Finance. HPS focuses on investments in private credit and public credit as well as private equity and real assets. 3. We need community, its familar, you need support, and they need mentors ...so get involved.... recruitment and mentorship ! 4. Donate, Donate and Donate.... remember 8 years ago HBCU enrolled increased exponentially. We need you and your donations 5. If Project 2025 is enacted and if they abolish the Department of Education this will impact students who needs all types of aid *please read what the Dept of Education does #howarduniversityalumni

On today's episode of the Professor Kev Show I am joined by Ryan Nguyen the Founder of Unity Provisions. Founded Unity Provisions in May 2024, a 501(c)(3) student-led non-profit addressing food insecurity by setting up donation centers in high schools and community centers worldwide. Our mission guide students to create their own food collection programs and advocate within their communities. I also discussed Relief Route, our GPS program that enhanced accessibility to local food banks and distribution centers, making a tangible difference in underserved areas. Globally, we created a network of schools and community centers to host our program like in Torrance California and Boston, Massachusetts, making sure resources reached those in need.#professorkev, #foodinsecurity, #fighthunger, #studentrunbusiness, #studententrepreneur #studentrunnonprofit

Shout out to Anna who opened up to me on our 1:1 nonprofit consultation call yesterday about how much HAC nonprofit has struggled with donor loss and grant withdrawals. Despite caring for over 125 kids who desperately need to find foster homes, get medical treatment, and educational opportunities, the nonprofit has struggled with almost shutting down this year. "Frustration & exhaustion are the least of my concerns," Anna says. "It is failing these kids that scare me the most. They need me. They need us and I am scared that despite my best efforts, I am failing them just as America has already failed them. So JB, I'm doing this scared, because the only option is giving up without a fight and I cannot do that." Do you know how insanely inspiring this is? SEND NONPROFITS WHO NEED MORE GRANTS TO IMPACT THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE & COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE MY WAY. RUOVA Consulting is a Passionate Partner in Winning Grants for a Better World. And I'm building the most kickass, badass & awe-mazing team who help nonprofits & fundraising leaders like Anna, do it scared and WIN. We wanna help you! I wanna help you! drop me a line at jbfavour@ruovaconsulting.com #nonprofit #fundraising #grants 📷credit: Michell Clark/IG
