This is only true of the sales training if the people trained are held accountable to putting that training into action.

More tips about sales 1.If you believe in the product,it may be easier for you to sell and to sell more of the product. 2.During training, ask questions if you have any queries. This is because after the training session, most of the staff will be too busy to entertain you.

Is Sales Training worth it? Well, a more accurate question is… What is it costing you not training them? Aside from losing to better trained competitors, non-trained salespeople exhibit certain common attributes that distinguish them from their trained counterparts. We see so many salespeople struggle with articulating their VALUE propositions clearly and concisely. Their conversations are disorganised or overly focused on the product features rather than the customer’s needs. They lack a systematic approach to sales, leading to inconsistent methods of engaging with potential customers. This results in missed opportunities and inefficient sales processes. Non-trained salespeople do not prioritise understanding the customer’s pain points and needs, often pushing for a sale without establishing a rapport or trust. How many of your team DO NOT ASK FOR THE SALE… They struggle with closing sales, either being too aggressive or too passive, which alienates customers and leads to lost deals. The Context Gap is the biggest killer of your sales training. It's the cause of the forgetting curve. It's the reason people don't pay attention and it's the reason even those who do take part and do well internally don't use skills externally. So what is the Context Gap? It means that the learning environment is SO different to the real world environment that a mental barrier is created which makes it 10x harder for reps to take the leap. The more time goes by, the gap widens and nothing gets adopted.

‼️ 95% of companies I speak with are running out of date sales training And I’m being generous with that Seriously most companies need to update their sales training asap I’m not saying the old content is no longer valid - it is But it needs new models / thoughts / processes included AND NO ❌ we cannot cover it all in 1 day❗️🙄 If you are looking and at sales training and the company and not discussing both sides of this graphic - think twice By the way we are pretty good at sales training 😊 Got something to add? ▶COMMENT Would others find it useful? ▶ REPOST Plan to refer back to this? ▶ SAVE Think I know my stuff? ▶ ENDORSE Want to see more like this? ▶ RING MY 🔔 and follow ▶Sales Training International Limited

When Archer came to us for sales training we knew we had our hands full. The "usual" stuff wouldn't work. He needed something unique and tailored. We had to teach him how to handle rejection without freaking out How to build genuine relationships And not need so much approval from everyone While staying in the moment to provide value And take responsibility when things go wrong and stop blaming Cyril Lots of raw talent, but for sure a different training protocol than Lana Ms. Archer knew that...she tried all the one-size-fits-all training Mr. Archer needed something else. If you are ready to take the guesswork out of sales training and train people where they need it using data...maybe we should talk about your mission.

The overwhelming majority of salespeople are not given proper training. And, no, "Go sit with Bob and copy what he does" is not sales training! Then we wonder why sales numbers are up and down month to month. The easiest way to get ahead of most salespeople in your market is to improve through training. Whether you train with us or someone else, we hope you take the steps to get sales training. Because it is not only better for the customer but also for our industry. Keep learning, growing and getting better at sales. Improvement never stops.
