One common question I get is, "What do you do as a Developer Advocate?" or "What does the Developer Experience team do?" (Even within Sendbird, haha 😂) The answer varies because the role of a Developer Advocate differs across companies. But I can clearly share what we do at Sendbird! And one great way to show this is by highlighting what we've accomplished!! Here's a recap of what we've done over the last three months. Huge thanks to the team! 🙌 (Jane Lee Katherine Na Yeon Kim Mansoo Kim Sunghyuk Kim Mickey C.) ======= 🚀 Dogfooding Session: We conducted an internal session for Sendbird Business Messaging, simulating a customer use case to improve our onboarding experience. 🎥 YouTube Videos: Released 5 videos covering AI Chatbot features to help users get started quickly. 📝 Feedback Channel: Actively collected and addressed feedback to enhance our documentation. 🤖 Interactive Demos: Built targeted demos for AI Chatbot in E-commerce, Healthcare, and Online Banking. 📚 Documentation Revamp: Improved our "Getting Started" guides, resulting in increased user engagement. I've spent 6 years building over 4000 outreach links. This is my team and their roles: Role 1: Campaign Strategist Tasks: 1. Decide which campaign types to run 2. Stalk existing link profiles for outreach angles Role 2: Outreach Assistant Tasks: 1. Find websites to reach out to 2. Gather contact information 3. Urdate personalization fields Role 3: Outreach Manager Tasks: 1. Write outreach email templates (and follow-ups) 2. Manage replies and negotiate link placements 3. Order content 4. Review and edit content 5. Deliver content and ensure links go live Role 4: Quality Controller Tasks: 1. Review and approve every link opportunity before it goes live. Role 5: Content Writer Tasks: 1. Write content for guest posts and link insertions. This does not include project management, tech, etc. Without a doubt, the Quality Controller is the most important role.
