At A Call to Order Professional Organizers, we understand that December isn’t just a month of festivities; it’s a time when families come together to reminisce, reflect, and prepare for the future. With the emotional weight of the season, many families choose this time to embark on estate clearing projects, allowing them to honor the past while making space for new memories. Here are three heartfelt reasons why we stand by this choice: 1) Closure – Transforming a loved one’s belongings into cherished memories provides a sense of peace and helps families heal. 2) Connection – Sorting through items becomes a bonding experience, fostering open conversations among family members about shared histories. 3) Renewal – Clearing out the old empowers families to create fresh starts in the new year. We invite you to connect with us to help navigate this journey with compassion and expertise. Together, let’s honor your legacy while embracing the promise of new beginnings. 🍂💫Family activities play a crucial role in strengthening bonds and creating cherished memories. They offer an opportunity to connect, communicate, and enjoy quality time together. Simple activities like having meals as a family, playing board games, or watching movies together can foster a sense of belonging and happiness. Outdoor adventures such as picnics, hiking, or visiting a local park provide a refreshing way to explore nature and stay active.🌼 🍁Creative pursuits like painting, cooking, or gardening together encourage teamwork and creativity. Celebrating special occasions, like birthdays or holidays, allows families to create traditions that can be passed down through generations. Volunteering as a family helps instill values of compassion and community service.🎉 🌈These activities, whether big or small, contribute to building stronger relationships, boosting morale, and ensuring that every family member feels valued and supported. My graditude journey. As I look back over the past year, I’m reminded of the importance of showing up and holding myself accountable for my own growth. Facing myself hasn’t always been easy—leaning into fear, learning from failures, and letting go of insecurities. But through it all, I’ve learned how powerful it is to feel good in my own skin and truly trust myself. Now, I know that whatever I set out to do, I am capable. Every connection I make, I know I’m worthy of someone’s time and energy. But getting here hasn’t been a simple journey. Building self-love and self-trust is hard work. It takes courage to confront insecurities and commit to nurturing yourself. It’s easy to use insecurity as an excuse, but I’ve learned that self-love is the real recipe for success. When you believe in your worth, you’re unstoppable. Here’s to the journey of self-discovery, growth, and embracing our full potential. With gratitude,
Today, we take a moment to be grounded and thoughtful, giving thanks for everything that serves us and helps us grow. Thanksgiving is a beautiful time to reflect on what may not be serving us, to embrace the opportunity to learn, and to find gratitude in every experience—even in those moments when we feel the weight and compression of life. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our communities, for everyone who has been a part of our journey, and for those we’ve yet to meet. Together, we’re stronger. Wishing everyone a warm and reflective Thanksgiving! 🧡 #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #EmpowerWomenCanada #ReflectAndGrow #CommunitySupport

Thanksgiving is that day of the year when we come together to celebrate family traditions. The family will gather to witness someone carve the turkey, stuff themselves with dressing, cover their mashed potatoes with gravy, and consume many other home-cooked holiday favorites. It is a time to catch up on what is happening in everyone's lives - the highs, the lows, and the everyday stuff. A time for other traditions like a game of football in the backyard or on the TV (can the Lions pull out a win this year?), setting up the Holiday ornaments, or the 24-hour endless loop of "A Christmas Story." Make sure to help all of your family enjoy this wonderful holiday, even those with ones who you might not get along with.... it is a time to give thanks! It is also a time to think of those who are less fortunate. Take time to do something for those who are in need. Consider volunteering at a kitchen, visiting and contributing to a shelter, or spending time at a community activity that will support the less fortunate. There is nothing like saying thanks by putting a smile on the face of someone you don't know. #Thankful #HelpingHand #MICEO #EmployeeOwnership

November: A Time to Embrace a Culture of Generosity November, often the bridge between autumn and the festive season, invites us to pause and reflect on giving. This month is filled with gratitude as we celebrate various traditions and approach the season of sharing. It’s a time to embrace a culture of generosity—not just through material gifts but through acts of kindness, time, and understanding. Generosity is more than simply giving; it’s about making an impact on the lives of others, whether family, friends, or strangers. During this month, we’re reminded that everyone has something valuable to offer, whether it's a listening ear, words of encouragement, or time volunteered for a good cause. November’s spirit calls on each of us to look beyond ourselves and consider how we can contribute to the community around us. As we prepare for the end-of-year festivities, embracing a giving mindset can build a foundation of goodwill and compassion that extends far beyond this month. By adopting a culture of generosity now, we set the stage for a more empathetic, connected, and positive future for everyone.

Thanksgiving is a holiday complicated by a history of harm, violence, and colonialism. We can’t be unwilling to turn toward that truth. And while we, as a country, are tasked to grapple with this reality, we honor the connections we share, the diverse stories we hold, and the spaces we create for everyone to be seen, loved, and truly known. Whether that be at the table, on the couch, outside around a fire, a bbq, or dinner at a restaurant, we use this time to remember who we are in the moments that we have each other. We can use this love, this connection, this togetherness to fuel our solidarity with our indigenous kin and with the complicated roots of our country’s identity. Together, we can build a world where community and justice are at the heart of every table. 🍂 Wishing everyone a blessed Thanksgiving holiday surrounded by the people you love the most. My secret to experiencing my best life…A GRATEFUL HEART 💗 It’s a heart attitude that keeps my expectations in check and my attitude focused on what’s really important. “Do everything without complaining so that you are a breath of fresh air in a polluted society…” Philippians 2:14-16 This Biblical wisdom is one of my favorites. Being grateful for even the smallest things, like a good parking spot, and for the most significant things like the health of your loved ones, keeps you focused on what living a good life is really about. Test it out. Start your day thinking and speaking about all the things that are wrong and annoying - see how your day ends. Start your day out thankful for all the great things that will happen that day. Really focus on what you are grateful for. Not only will your day go well, not perfect, but well, YOU WILL BE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR TO THOSE YOU INTERACT WITH..family, employees and strangers. Another idea, make sure you calendar something everyday, even if it’s for five minutes, that will bring you joy. That guarantees something you will be grateful for at day’s end. If this was helpful, share it! 💞 If you like it, ❤️ it. #CommunityMatters #BuildingConnections #TogetherStronger #SupportiveCommunity #CommunityLove #WeAreOne #CommunityEngagement #InclusiveCommunity #JoinOurCommunity #CommunityBuilding #EmpoweredCommunity #CommunityCollaboration #UnitedCommunity #CommunityFirst #CaringCommunity #CommunityDriven #CommunityInspiration #CommunityGoals #CommunityUnity #CommunitySpirit

Is Tipping Your Staff Required This Holiday Season? 🤔 Tipping your staff during the holiday season is a common practice, but it's not mandatory. Whether or not to tip is a personal choice and completely up to you. No matter what you decide, remember that your staff works hard to provide you and your community a great service in keeping your building in order. And one way you can show your appreciation is by tipping and showing generosity! 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗔 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 As we gather around tables this week, it's important to reflect on the deeper truths of Thanksgiving. While many of us were taught a story of harmony between Indigenous peoples and settlers, history tells us something much different. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 against Native American communities—a legacy that still affects their sovereignty and rights today. For many, 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 is a time to express gratitude and connect with loved ones, but it 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲. From navigating family dynamics to dealing with financial stress or the grief of missing loved ones, the holidays are not joyful for everyone. This season, let’s approach Thanksgiving with a spirit of truth and accountability. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆: 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀: Take time to learn about the real history of Thanksgiving and acknowledge the resilience of Native peoples. Organizations like the Native American Rights Fund and books by Indigenous authors are great starting points. 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Consider donating to Native-led organizations or purchasing from Indigenous-owned businesses. 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Be mindful that not everyone celebrates the holiday in the same way—or at all. Respect diverse perspectives and create space for open conversations. 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆: For those who find the holidays difficult, let’s reach out and support one another. Sometimes a kind word or an invitation to join can make all the difference. Together, we can create new traditions that honor truth, justice, and community care. 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
